The customer service department reached out and asked about my experience following the initial review. Because I had used a can that didn’t work didn’t think I could return the purchase. But could leave a factual review to help the company and customers. I’m in agreement this could be a manufacture defective can. Didn’t wanna use the others making the coat worst. Was able to improve the coat with compound buffer, polish and wax though there’s still notable issues caused by this product defect. I updated my review because customer service took initiative. Asked me for details. Without notice refunded my money. For me, customer service is as important as product. This company wins for customer service and my hope is the issue gets fixed for other users. Update /\ Clear coat is either a 5⭐️ or 1. There’s no in between. It either works or not. Unfortunately, this is a NOT. Why? The can spiddles droplets. The tip comes off. It doesn’t stop moving fluid from oozing around the tip sides despite me not spraying. At first I used a spray handle to help have a better grip to spray. More even flow. Works great on spray paint. Not this product. Even though the directions are followed to a tee the experience is lost when droplets drip from the tip. The spray releases very different than spray paint. It is more mist. My expectation was this would coat similar to spray paint. Perhaps due to the faulty tip the spray coming from the can is affected. I’m painting a new front end for the Wrangler. Disappointed in the experience thus far. The drips will need to be buffed with wet dry sandpaper to smooth them. Compound and polish to help repair the damage of the drips. Disappointed. There are two clear coat choices on Amazon and this seemed a great option. Not so much once used. Unfortunately bought a three pack. ⭐️

I was hesitant to buy these based on the bad reviews out there. They were few, but I worried anyway. I only needed 2 cans but got the 3 pack so I’d have an extra if one of them didn’t work. Happy to report - ZERO problems with 2 out of the 3 cans. As I said, I didn’t need the 3rd at this time so it’s on the shelf. Don’t see any reason to think it will be any different than the other two. The button you press on the bottom didn’t break and leak like some negative reviews. The spray pattern was a pretty good fan (unlike other negative reviews saying it was too small of a spot). And the coverage was great. I’m not a professional painter. I’ve never used this style paint before and even I got a beautiful finish first try. I would recommend for novices and experts alike.

Love this paint and 2k clear coat. I'm not a professional by any means and I don't paint often, but I have found era paints to be easy to work with and always seems to come out great ( for what I need an my standards) the paint isn't cheap but it is the only paint I'll use when doing projects like my race bike.

stuff works good.lays down no problems.

If you follow the directions, it’s like having an automotive clear coat put on it. A shiny, very durable and wipe able finish.

This didn't last... Only a year. Not worth it.

After ten long years of looking at silver door handles - I decided to take the time to paint them. The 2k clear worked out AMAZING!!! It does take about 5 coats - so if you're working out in the sun - it will level out by the 4th and 5th coat. Saved myself about $250 by doing it myself! Obviously proper prep is key! After a month - still look amazing and I'll get some ceramic coating on them soon!
