A 4.8 season just a shade short of 5 stars
There are a lot of words and phrases that you can use to describe this second season of "Blindspot:" Adrenaline driven, non-stop action, high speed, strong female characters, fights (lots and lots of fights), and even seemingly out-of-place words like "romance" and "love."They all apply to this really interesting season that focuses on the backstory of the mysterious Jane Doe (who crawled out of a bag in NYC at the beginning of the first season wearing nothing but tattoos) and the secretive organization she once belonged to.Those tattoos can lead the FBI team she now works with to the solutions of crimes and the apprehensions of criminals if they are clever enough to figure out the riddles they contain. It's not always easy and the motives behind the people who inked Jane's body aren't always clear. That's part of the fun of this show, frankly. I mean, as viewers, we expect the FBI to figure these clues out eventually but it's still fun to see them do it.If I have one quibble with this show it's that the bad guys - with rare exception - seem kind of hapless. They regularly lose fights and even when armed with automatic weapons they can't seem to hit the main characters from 20-30 feet away. Some people do sustain some wounds in this season - I won't say who gets shot or stabbed or how seriously they are injured - but by and large the villains can't shoot straight. My point is not that I want to see the good guys killed off or turned into cripples. No, it's simply that I'd prefer it if the bad guys DIDN'T shoot as much since they can't seem to hit anything anyway. This season was made more interesting by the addition of a shadowy - Hindu - NSA agent played by the beautiful Archie Panjabi. I thought her characterization of Nas Kamal was on the money. Nas is driven, understands that she has to be better than the men around her if she is ever to advance, loyal, self-sacrificing, and brave; she is a marvelous character. This series is remarkable in that it features so many strong female characters in a mainstream show. On top of that, they come from many ethnic groups and widely differing backgrounds. The writers have also done a good job, I think, in creating male characters that - whether they like it or not - have to work with these woman and treat them with respect. There is a lot of drama in this season's episodes that has nothing to do with guns, knives, and bombs: Relationships that collapse, personal betrayals, and romantic involvements are all featured. Some touchy subjects (child sexual abuse, drug use, alcoholism) are also addressed in this season and I thought they were handled well by the writers. My take: This is a 4.8 season, just a shade short of 5 stars.

Very good show, I watched it, then got my sister to watch it and I got the videos for het.
We both really liked the show with all the twists and turns. Not many shows get my attention any more but this one does. It's very good.

it's a pretty good show
Well, it's a pretty good show. Fantastic writing and great action. The only issue I have with this show is Jamie Alexander's acting. It falls totally flat for me. She always has the same surprised look on her face! A lot of the time, while trying to convey emotion, her voice quivers when she talks and it sounds SO FAKE to me! Honestly, I'm starting to get tired of listening to her voice. It's really raspy and coarse. The people that decided to cast her were probably thinking more about getting a lot more viewers rather than casting a great actress for the part of Jane Doe. They probably thought, "Great! We've got a super hero (Thor), that'll get us a lot more viewers!" Ugh, terrible actress, in my opinion! If they decided to go with a better actress who knows has a wider range of portraying emotions, I'd give this show five stars instead of four! Sorry, Jamie!

Story "10", Writing "10", directing "9", Acting (J.Alexander) "5"
I still like it, thought I think it is losing a little steam. Jamie Alexander is beautiful and very athletic, but maybe could use some more ranger in her emotions? There is and occasional strained smile, Tears once an episode (seems like), and that "What the hell are you asking me to do," startled-surprise look she wears 50% of the time she is on camera. I'm sure she intends to convey some different nuanced emotions each time she does it, but I am not seeing them. She wears that surprise face way to much. Maybe I'm just not attentive enough to catch the subtle differences. Believe it or not I do like the show and will also pay for next season.

Good entertainment
Really good serious it keeps you interested and at times on the edge of your seat. The action is good and the way that the team looks out for one another. The team is a family and I would love to see Jane and Weller develop a relationship again. This is one of the better series on TV That makes you think the characters, their involvement and their connections to one another. I am still waiting to find out about Jane's true story and why did they choose Weller for the tattoo on her back. Good writers and a very good cast.

A great series that I hope continues.
I knew from the very first trailer shown of season one that I was going to love this series and I do. The suspense and mystery and person conflicts make for thrilling and exciting viewing. I am looking forward to season three. I have been a Sullivan Stapleton fan since he did the Strike Back series overseas. He makes this show rock.
