puredown Goose Down and Feather Bedding Pillows Insert White 2 Pack King Size

It took me three tries to find good down pillows on Amazon, but I think I finally got them. The 85/15 mix of goose feather and down, for me the right plushness as a side sleeper. The tags on these pillows actually match the content description on Amazon. There are no funky smells with these pillows a factor I attribute to being made in the USA, which was a requisite after returning two other sets of pillows that were made in China because of the disgusting smell of them, among other things. The fabric shell is very nice and well-made with no feathers poking out (the shell is made in China, but filled in the USA). I found them to be a little "crunchy", so washed them. They washed very well and the washing softened the fabric, so no more crunch. The pillows did shrink with washing and drying, but that was fine with me because the pillows I ordered were Queen size, but my pillowcases are standard sized, and the compression added a bit more firmness. Note that puredown down/feather pillows can vary a lot, so read the description thoroughly to save yourself some time.

So comfy. Fluff them up and the pillow will conform to support your neck. I never want to use any other pillow.

Took me 6 pillows to find this jewel! The pillow is not squishy or lumpy. You can have the pillow tucked around your head and cozy up to your face without smothering you. Does not go flat either. Really the perfect fit for someone who likes pillows that have a little extra.

Not as soft as advertised

Pure down company says there pillows are medium firmness but there pillows are softer than soft pillow.
