Great climbing gym shoe!
I have only used these indoors, but they are a fabulous shoe. True to size, so downsize for sure if you are a serious climber. I have a long narrow foot with very long toes & was blown away by the out of the box comfort of these. Easy on and off (as climbing shoes go). Confident toe, and plenty of support for heel hooks as well. These are aggressive fit, so if you are looking to "walk" around the gym, they are not the shoe. Great product!

Shoes are low quality and very old looking, avoid Backcountry seller
The shoes themselves are actually very comfortable and I'd imagine they perform well on rock but I had the same problem as someone else on here, when I got them they already looked like theyve been sitting around for a few years. There was significant yellowing across the fabric and glue showing where the rubber connects to the fabric, probably indicating that its started to slip off. The rubber also had some signs of age and didn't feel as sticky as brand new rubber. Even the shoebox itself looked beaten up. This model of shoe is probably great in reality but I cant recommend buying through this Backcountry reseller. If you want these shoes, go through tenaya's official site or some other seller.

Make the jump
I'm an avid climber but only been into the hobby for about 3 years. I also ice climb, mountaineer, hike and play basketball. I've always had wide feet and issues with my toenails and especially with my big toes. It will come as no surprise that my chosen hobbies wreck havoc on my poor feet and toes. For climbing I've been using 5.10 Coyote lace-ups which are great, but flat and completely non-egressive. I decided to try the jump to aggressive shoes with the Tenaya Oasi because they are touted as the most comfortable design on the market.I'm not going to say you won't experience pain, you will. But with proper toenail management, frequent use, and a second pair of shoes to switch to on belay, you will be able to make the adjustment happily, and you won't look back!I'm sending new projects in these shoes that were not possible with my old shoes, highly recommended!

A great climbing shoe
A great climbing shoe, I got the 9.5s and they fit a little bit too big for me so I traded them in and got a size 9.Update to my review, the shoes are absolutely amazing, they are aggressive and allow you to heel hook, smear, and balance perfectly on little tiny nubs. Unfortunately the velcro on the shoe sucks, the two straps on both my shoes have already started to fray and barely stay on anymore. Looks like the sewing job on them was s*** and that is the reasoning behind the shoe falling to pieces after only 2 months of climbing. I'm going to reach out to the manufacturer and see if they will replace or fix my shoes for me.

Aggressive while not painful:)
These climbing shoes are tight and slightly aggressive, but also feel a little bit cushioned inside which is a nice difference from the toe pinching climbing shoes I've had in the past. That being said, they are tight as expected, but I don't feel like I need to come off of a climb because of any discomfort. I could definitely see myself getting another pair as these are very high-quality, the rubber is great and I like them so much more than the other popular brands I have tried.

Unnatural heel fit
The heel cup is HUGE, I mean unless you're a gorilla it's not gonna fit properly. Other than that it's quite a comfortable pair of climbing shoes. I've noticed this is a Tenaya issue, as I had the same problem when I tried on the Mundaka.

Poor quality control
I was super excited to get these shoes in. For nearly 200$ I expected a high quality shoe. Unfortunately these look like they’ve been sitting in a warehouse forever and aging. The soles were not used but there was a wire sticking out of the side that pricked my finger and as seen in the pictures, there’s a lot of discoloration. It looked like old glue that has turned yellow but glue shouldn’t even be on that portion in the shoe. I am returning them for something else

These shoes are like slippers. They're very comfortable immediately
These shoes are like slippers. They're very comfortable immediately. I had almost no break in period with them. The down side is that the rubber is a bit softer than other climbing shoes so I am occasionally slipping off tiny toe holds.

Gerne wieder!
