Blues Clues & You Alphabet Game, for Families and Kids Age 3 and Up

This was a surprisingly high quality game for the cost. It is basically alphabet BINGO. Each player gets a card, which are made of thick cardboard and have capital letters on one side and lower case letters on the other. Players take turns picking from one of 27 tiles (26 letters + 1 wild card) and all players cover matching letters on their card with the blue tiles. The tiles are also thick cardboard which should hold up well to small children, and there are plenty of blue tiles to support ~4 players. The letter tiles have a corresponding element of the show that begins with the associated letter (B is Blue, T is tickity tock, etc.). We have played shorter games where the players have to get 4 in a row / column / diagonal and longer games where players have to match their entire card. It seems to keep the kids engaged and they enjoy seeing characters and subjects from Blues Clues. And they are sneakily learning the alphabet.

I think of this game as the Blue Clues equivalent to Bingo. The Blues Clues theme is recognizable and brightly colored. It’s a fast paced game which is always my preference for mixed ages playing together. I also find it one my younger grandkids can play because they can match pictures not just letters. Naturally this is also a great way to work on sounds and letter recognition. The game is well made. The pieces are the thick paper cardboard so they can’t get wet. They are slick enough then can be wiped as needed for germs.

Definitely can give as a gift because learning is fun pass it on so easy to learn

An alphabet version of Bingo. This version is more educational as it helps to reinforce the letters of the alphabet. It is also a plus if your child is a fan of Blues Clues. I use all different types of alphabet Bingo games and this one proved to be popular with the preschool/kindergarten crowd. My preschoolers do not have to be able to read in order to play. Most of the pictures on the alphabet card are easily identifiable.

Our 3 year old LOVES GAMES & and letters!!! So this was a no brained, because she also love Blues Clues!! Simple to play! Easy to follow instructions! Mom Hack: •open the game before gifting. •pop out all discs and place them in their own small baggie!! •grab a larger baggie for the game boards and instructions. •put all back in the box and wrap!! This way when your little opens the gift, it’s ready to play!!! No extra stuff needs done! Great for gifting for any occasion!
