Loved Garrett and Mia
I was super excited to read Eyes On Me after Praise. I thought I couldn’t love a couple more than Emerson and Charlie, but Sara proved me wrong. Garrett and Mia complement each other so well and they are just so cute together. The banter and the heart to heart are everything. If you love a good enemies to lovers, age gap, forbidden romance with an element of taboo, look no further! As one of the owners of the Salacious Players’ Club, Garrett wanted the club to be successful. He was a voyeur and he knew what people liked, so he used it to his advantage. He put on shows with hot couples and got people excited about joining the membership. One night, he stumbled upon a cam girl app and saw his step-sister Mia on it. Despite not liking her, he couldn’t stop watching her. She was not the bratty kid he remembered her to be, but a confident, sexy young woman. He signed up as a patron under a different name and started talking to her. Soon he found himself opening up and getting attached to someone he shouldn’t.We knew Garrett as the laid-back, easy-going guy. What we didn’t know was the mental health issues he was battling. It was amazing to see him learn to let people in, display his vulnerability and show his true emotions. Mia lost her mom at a young age and she was finding her way in life. Being a cam girl made her feel empowered and it also gave her the opportunity to connect with someone. The personal growth of Garrett and Mia was phenomenal and I loved how it transformed their relationship as a couple. This story is about two people overcoming their insecurities and loving one another despite their flaws.“𝐈 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐚𝐝. 𝐏𝐥𝐮𝐬, 𝐈 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐦𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐨𝐨.” This said it all.

Another great book in the SPC series!
Ok, I was a bit unsure of how I would feel about this considering Garrett and Mia’s relationship but putting that aside, this is another great book in the salacious players club series by Sara Cate.Slight age gap romance, online/reality relationship, secret relationship, spicy, brilliant character development.I really loved this book (not as much as praise that is my favourite in the series so far) but I couldn’t put this book down! They say the quiet ones are the secret wild ones well that can definitely be said for Garrett. He was introduced to us in the first book of the series Praise and was knows as the voyeur in the “friend” group and honestly I didn’t realise how good the idea of that could be! Eyes on me explores that a lot more and has more scenes at the club and snippets of previous characters in the series so far.I definitely recommend this book/series. For those that aren’t comfortable with the type of relationship they have (step siblings) it’s very easy to overlook if needs be and considering their story it works.

EYES ON - Eyes On Me
“We lie together for a while in comfortable silence, and I honestly can’t remember the last time I was around someone without talking for so long.”One of the 4 owners of our favourite Salacious Players Club, Garrett is a voyeur. He loves to watch, which makes him fantastic at his job sourcing talent and ensuring the club is set up perfectly. But one day on a cam girl app he stumbles across the one person he shouldn’t watch - his step sister Mia. He knows he should look away, but he can’t.As the attraction grows, and moves into real life, both Garrett and Mia are left sorting out their feelings and trying to work out what all this attraction really means. But Garrett is holding a secret, and he knows it must come out soon. The second instalment of the Salacious Players Club series, Eyes On Me does not disappoint on the hotness levels. Having step-siblings as the main characters adds a deeper level of taboo, but as Garrett was an adult when the families blended it’s not as “icky” as you might think. Just like in Praise, Cate has found the perfect combination of a solid plot, strong character growth, and intense smut.Sara Cate has added a deeper emotional background to Garrett, with his mental health issues being a strong theme throughout the book. We see the reactions and support of his family and friends, and it’s great to see him seeking the help he needs in the epilogues. Some TW are needed, Cate outlines them in the beginning of the book.

Perfect balance of plot, smut and angst!
Eyes on Me is book two in the Salacious Players Club. A MF bdsm romance with both age gap and the forbidden stepbrother trope.I really enjoyed Praise so naturally I dove straight into Eyes on Me and while it hit differently to the previous book I was hooked.Garrett is one of the owners of Salacious Players Club and when he accidentally stumbles onto his stepsister Mia on a cam girl site he knows he should stop, but he can't.The sexual tension is one of my favourite things. The back and forth banter with their building sexual chemistry is fantastic. They're a perfect combination, a voyeur and an exhibitionist.I feel this book has more depth and growth than the first coupling. Don't get be wrong, before you prepare the villagers with pitchforks I loved Charlie and Emerson. But Garrett struggling with darkness is something so relatable, coupled with the feelings that lead to him embracing his voyeuristic tendencies your heart breaks a little for him. If an author can provoke the feels from me, it rates well. His growth throughout the book brought more substance to the story than just smut. Which I loved. I'm a big lover of smut, but I do enjoy plot with it.Mia and Garrett's story had it all in my opinion, smut, plot and a dash of angst.Highly recommend giving this series a read. Looking forward to seeing where the next book in the series takes us.

Amazing taboo romance
Hell yes! Who would’ve thought I could love Garrett and Mia as much as I loved Emerson and Charlie from book 1?! Not me! But yes I did. This serie is so good.Sara Cate does the taboo and age gap tropes so well. And honestly I feel like this serie is so liberating and so well done. There’s really no kink shaming in this and it feels so authentic even though I really can’t be the judge of that but still.Garrett is amazing. He was secretly broken but once he opened up, his vulnerability was heartbreakingly beautiful. I also love his creative brain. We saw that already in book 1 but in this book it shines so bright. The icecube?! The clubscenes?! The event they put together with the stage scene?! Especially that last one was SO powerful. Mia really takes the power in her own hands and I freaking loved that. I just love these FMC’s who are unapologetic and come to that stage where they own their desires and feel confident in their bodies. We saw it happen with Charlie and now with Mia, who was already so confident but had a really great arc nonetheless. And I feel like she is described as a curvy queen and I always love that.If I can make one request: I really want a book about Eden! I loved her in book 1 and also in this book, even though we only see glimpses but still. I would KILL for a book about her.
