Super Sprout Carrot Powder (Organic) - 150 Grams (5.29 Ounces)

I am a regular consumer of this and 8 other Super Sprout powders, strictly for health. This is an extremely easy and convenient way of meeting your produce requirements as you could down a smoothie instead of spending hours eating the raw food equivalent. The taste is so so, but it's what I'd expect from a product that doesn't add sugar or other undesirable ingredients. The cost seems high but is actually less than if you bought the equivalent raw product in the produce aisle of a supermarket. My health has improved ever since using their powders on a regular basis. This is an easy fast way of optimizing one's health and I hope this company and their full product line remains intact for a long time.

The low star reviews confuse me. If you have researched sulforaphane then you know exactly why you would want powdered broccoli sprouts. Mixed with water or almond milk in the morning it is the fastest way to get a high dose of sulforaphane. It tastes a little like broccoli and maybe doesn't dissolve 100% but who cares? You are buying perhaps the best, or one of the best, anti-cancer compounds discovered so far. I also purchased a sprouting kit and grow broccoli sprouts but this is a lot easier, though more expensive.

I'll be honest, I do not know if the health effects of this product are real. The evidence is slowly trickling out. I do not have a microscope so I can't tell whats actually in the powder. And, since I was already a pretty healthy dude, I feel the same. But the powder seems pretty fresh and it looks like it maintains its freshness. The taste gets some getting used to f you drink it in a shake but after some time you grow to like it. I drink it everyday and am happy this company makes it. I have already gone through 3 or 4 containers of this stuff and the quality is the same every time.Besides drinking it with my protein shake, I also drink it with my orange fiber supplement, Citrucel, and it tastes very good... almost like a fruit and vegetable drink.

Taste good, but didn't realize how tiny the bottle is for that cost!

Unsure why, but a table spoon a day seems to give me more energy.

I started using it right after I bought it.It is the easiest to mix with no shaking.ProsIt has no sugar added so all of the sugars/carbohydrates come innately from the plant itself. I just use stevia to sweeten it.I have not felt any outstanding benefit obviously but since I have switched from caffeinated coffee to decaf and then drink it instead I noticed no sluggishness thereafter as if I had my caffeine drink. I used to drink diet pop like Mountain Dew but I seemed to have not missed it so far. I still do occasionally drink diet pop but only as a rare treat.I found out that mixing the Beetroot powder a teaspoon of it to the Emergenc-C 1000 mg powder and water was a blast of a combination. The Vit C sweetened it a bit with the mixed flavor of orange and beet and also gave me my yearning for the pop frizz since the Vit C powder has it.ConIf you drink this beet juice by itself in water it does not taste palatable at all. It definitely has the beet aftertaste that most people are not too cozy about with beet. And it is bland. No sweetness in itself. So its hard to swallow it down.The container is smaller than I expected. But its OK for me too because its quite handy to carry as part of my travel paraphernalia. You use one tsp at a time and for me just once a day so I think it will last for quite a while.

I recently switched to Super Sprout broccoli sprout powder after about a year of using a different brand. I am so glad I gave this Super Sprout powder a try. I sprinkle a spoonful of it on top of shredded chicken and then add olive oil and salt. The broccoli sprout powder seem very fresh and adds a delicious flavor.

I have mixed it into water and it truly tastes like I added fresh lemon slices.I can't give it 5 stars though because the powder is a bit lumpy and does not dissolve perfectly.Since it is cheaper to use fresh lemons in water, I'll reserve this powder for baking recipes.
