This was supposed to be a bait caster to the picture but is actually a spinning rod my fault for not reading I guess but I shouldn’t have to and this is a good product cast good rod is just a little shorter than I was looking for

Arrived Broken
I don’t generally write reviews, nor do I generally pay much stock in them but in this instance I feel compelled to share my experience... I saw some negative reviews but I figured Lew’s Is a good brand and deserves the benefit of doubt. Lo and behold the rod arrives broken.. the tip is snapped and/or missing its eyelet. Please do yourself a favor a steer clear of this combo.

Not good quality, but a great cause.
Bought this because I heard it was a good product, and I love the cause supported by Lew's American Hero line. However, the quality is not there. Not even 2 months after purchase, the reel is broken. Called Lew's and the girl at customer service said there's nothing she can do without the serial number, which is only printed on the packaging apparently, nowhere on the reel.
