My poor brother has two bad hips and likewise knees, & our stupid house has STEPS all over the place. WHY the dang builder couldn't figure out HOW to build a house with a FLAT PLATFORM is beyond me. I needed a small step like this for my brother to get into the Kitchen from his bedroom---WORKS FANTASTIC---it's not too big & it's not too small, it's the Perfect 'goldilocks' solution for something SO insurmountable as a stupid step ( for someone w/bad bones ). Being plastic, I was worried about how durable/Sturdy it would be---the square is finely built---because we're Both pretty hefty in weight, & this thing won't break. I bought a USED step for Under $31---and I think that was too much, honestly. I probably could've Saved the money making my OWN step, but for those who can NOT---this works beautifully. We both wear slippers in the house, so the Issue of the hard plastic Nubs on bare feet doesn't apply to us. Highly recommend this particular size & height step, well made, won't break.

I picked this up after I found my rocking recliner was too high. This is perfect for keeping my feet firmly on the floor.It is also well made and sturdy.

Very light in weight and yet durable. Perfect height is not too high and not too low. My sister weighs 220lbs, and it can hold her,no problem. She uses it to get into the car without any concern and I can pick it up put it in the trunk. Serves it purpose.

Footrest for under my computer desk is sturdy and provides just the right foot riser I needed. Very sturdy and has non-slip pads on the bottom of the legs. Also has non-slip top so your feet don't slide around while using it. The top foot pad is also removable for cleaning. Pretty fair size, 19"L x 15"W x 3.5"H. I would recommend this if you need some additional foot height while sitting in your office chair. The only downside for this item is the box it was shipped in. It arrived with the entire bottom (leg side of the riser) caved in and trashed. Very poor packaging in my opinion. Luckily, no damage to the riser itself. That's the reason for a four star rating.Amazon needs to work with their suppliers/sellers on their packaging.Update to original review: After using thisfootrest for a few days, I have discovered a newdownside. The removable silicon pad collects EVERYTHING everytime you put your feet on it.Be prepared to constantly be cleaning this thing. Makes it very inconvenient.

Not quite as sturdy as one I bought before. But it does the job, we use it in the balcony as there’s a big step down. It’s been out in all weather and is holding up nicely even with heavy people stepping in it. Stays in place too.

Just what I needed for my elderly friend to be able to step up and down from her tall bed.

This is my second one. It lasted outside in front of my door for 2 years and then the white rubber top cracked and came off. No doubt from a lot of sun. I replaced it with another brand and that one was warped badly and I returned it. I can not get in and out of my house without it. You have to be careful to always stand in the center or it can rock to the side. I have a large brass drawer handle screwed into the door frame to assist me getting up the remainder of the step into my house. It lets me pull up and keeps me from losing my balance.

I have bad knees and this really helps me! Even before I hurt my knees, the step out the back door is just a bit more than I like & often people would spill a little coffee or wine. It makes for a smoother step & no accidents, with people or with liquid!
