The material is packed in cardboard and also paper is stuck to it lightly but with enough force to stay on, and still easy to unpeel and take off. The material is quite clear and pure and shining and bright and makes a nice reflection, and best of all it is just right for the purpose I need it for, which is to shield my eyes from a bright candle flame while I use the flame to do a step in handcrafted items. I ordered a bigger sheet than I needed and used my friend's cutting board (for fabric) to make a perfect straight line. If you buy an acrylic cutting tool you have to drag it correctly along the line. The wrong ways are very hard and the right way, which isn't the first one I guessed, makes it easy. Then it cracks apart just as you would like but it does take a bit of bravery to bend it enough for it to snap.

Exactly what I needed.
I ended up using this as a replacement back window for my ford ranger. Item was exactly as described and happened to match the existing tint on the other windows. From the back you can't even tell its not glass. The picture shows it cut and installed on the passenger side. Will definitely be ordering more from this company.

Advertised as see-through but it's not
On the pictures of this product listing it shows that it is a see-through panel. However even if I shine with a flashlight on it from the other side it is not see-through. Seems like a defect and it's just a black standard panel, and the seller has a lack of quality control.

outrageous shipping
I'm not sure how i missed the $12.49 shipping fee. I normally only purchase items with free shipping, but this was part of a very large order and i missed the fee. will not be purchasing more from this seller given their shipping fees. product is OK - much more flexible than i expected.

Perfect!
Two of my tinted van windows were broken. I replaced them with this item, and found it to be indistinguishable from the original. My van looks new again! Cutting this item to the right shape with a jigsaw, and securing it with double-sided Gorilla Tape was super-easy.
