These shocks were very easy to install. Now my truck toolbox functions properly.

My truck toolbox is at least 30 years old so it was built well, the lid is super heavy. More like scary heavy and difficult to hold up, the lid would slam shut so hard i would cringe. I dont want to imagine what would happen if my fingers were in the way. Well long story short, i purchased these shocks and the toolbox works perfectly. The lid pops open as soon as i push the open button, but not so fast that i get hit in the face. The lid opens all the way up like its supposed to, and is not too hard to push it closed. Im super happy with these shocks and should have bought these years ago. I highly recommend!!!

These lift struts fit perfect on my Delta toolbox lid. I wish it came with new retainer clips but I was able to use my old ones.

These work good. They will raise the lid and keep them up. THEY WILL BE SMALLER THAN OLD SHOCKS. But very easy fix. I just drilled out the rivets for the bracket and used self-tapper screws to relocate top bracket. Works fine now.

The came when specified, they were nicely wrapped, they fit absolutely perfect. Easy to install, sometimes the small clips are a pain though. I would highly recommend this seller and the quality products.

I have an older tool chest that needed new struts. Using the Part number on the old strut led to a frustrating and quizzical search for a replacement. These were an ideal replacement. Nice and strong and a real deal on the price. Hope they last a long long time

I installed the lift cylinders on my pickup tool box lid. One cylinder blew out the second time I lifted the lid !! Not happy.
