Comes in a good hinged plastic container which clips closed. Seems not to have degraded at all. A few of the bands snapped using them out the box, but minimal. However nearly all of them break if you try using them more than once, but for the price it's nothing. The only issue is they don't seem to be recyclable anywhere.

They do the job but when you take a few out to put in your purse or wherever, make sure they're in a baggy separate from anything else! I was wondering what all this black sticky stuff was all over my jewellery. Turns out they degrade and melt down into a sticky black mess. Which I guess is better for the environment? But not great for jewellery and clothing etc. Be very careful with how you store them.
