Great speed control
The media could not be loaded. I bought this to replace an old mechanical foot pedal. The motor is a .9A Alphasew. Had to remove the old connector and replace it with a two prong plug (not a problem). The we new foot pedal works amazingly well. Wish I would've done this years ago!

Worked great!! I had a very old foot pedal that was always loosing it’s connectivity and ran at either full speed or not at all.This one lets me sew on a slow speed and I’m no longer in danger of sewing my fingers.Love it!!!

Good quality for the price
I purchased this pedal to replace the original one on my vintage Morse FotoMatic III. It fits perfectly & there's really no installation required. Just insert the machine plugs into the correct, well-marked, sockets. The pedal is so smooth & really controls the machine speed much better than the original one.

Foot pedal IS a variable speed controller!
Actually allows the speed of the sewing machine to start slow and speed up as the foot pressure is adjusted during use.

Manufactured wrong
I couldn't get one prong of the plug all the way into the outlet. I opened it to see if something just needed to be bent, but no. That part had been soldered in backwards and there was no way I was ever going to be able to use it, so I returned it and bought a different one.
