What are the physical differences between this Velocity model and the Revolution model shown on the Little Giant website?

On the Little Giant website, go to the "What's New" section, and those are the features the Revolution model offers above and beyond this model.  To recap, the Revolution is approx. 20% lighter, has a quad-lock hinge (4 pins instead of 2 in the lock), and due to the new pins, it has a new lever called a "Rock Lock", which is a push and release lock on the sides to adjust the ladder.  While any sort of weight reduction is a good thing (when still rated for the same load), don't let this weight reduction fool you into thinking the original model is overly heavy.  I have the 22' model, and I find it easy to move around.  The quad locks are debatably useful, as I have never felt my 2 pin design was unstable or even the least bit wobbly.  The redesigned release locks do sound nice however, as the original ones take a little getting used to.

The ladder is not light. If you need a top quality, really well built ladder, that is truly at the top its class this is it. If you only need to use a light weight step ladder for the simplest of jobs this is probably not for you. However, if the terms reliability, dependability, confidence, trust, adaptability, and stability mean any thing this ladder is a top choice. When I worked as a carpenter this ladder was an absolute "go to."  I never worried when using it and the multiple position options are really handy. It is simple to use and the wheels make the heavier weight a non-issue. I've had my Little Giant for eight years now and it works like new, shows little wear, and I really appreciate it.
