Thank you for existing!
Such a great business. A lot of people don’t understand that it’s hard to find the exact color to paint a ceiling, wall, door, etc.. There are different types of white color, and with this company having a variety of white paint it really helps to match the desired color that you want. I bought this thinking that it’s matte, but it was high gloss. Thanks for accepting returns. I got the matte finish that you have instead. Great business!! Love it!

Not worth it
I purchased this kit to touch up my antique farmer's sink. The paint is very thick and difficult to use and does not stand up to water... ???

Helps to disguise chips and scratches if you can find a good color match
I have become quite a Soto enthusiast after having had the chance to sample a number of their product offerings. I am highly impressed by the brand’s premium quality, well-designed and thoughtful packaging, and the convenience and effectiveness of their products. So far, I’ve had great experiences with their interior/exterior paint, their multi-surface paint touch-up kit (which I used on walls and a piece of furniture), their spackle kit, and several of their accessories. This, however, was my first average experience and it was mostly due to my inability to get a perfect color match for my appliances and tiles. I was trying to pick between the “Whites” and “Off-whites” but went with the “Whites” kit because my appliances are whiter than my walls (which were a good match for the off-white kit). However, the 3 white colors I received all did not quite match my appliances. As a result, the stains or chips I was trying to cover were somewhat disguised, but the slight difference in white is still more obvious than I would like.I think this particular kit and type of paint is a little more complicated to use than Soto’s other touch-up kit (the multi-surface one). Aside from finding a good color match, I also discovered that the different textures and finishes on appliances and tiles made it hard to truly disguise blemishes with the paint in an invisible way. My refrigerator, for example, has a textured surface rather than smooth, and so when I tried to paint over a stain on the side that wouldn’t come off, the paint created a smoother surface that sat on top of the refrigerator’s texture and looked distinctly like a layer of paint. I’ve posted photos of the before and after. I think getting a better color match would have helped to make it less obvious for sure, but I did notice that in this case, I couldn’t avoid the effect of having a “layer” on top of the fridge texture because applying less paint did not sufficiently disguise the stain and it continued to show through. The amount of paint needed to conceal it created the less desirable effect. Also, when I tried to disguise a crack on a kitchen tile, the paint wound up being less glossy than the tile’s surface, so the difference in glossiness was almost what made it more obvious than the imperfect color match.Having said all that, despite these troubles, I am still happy to have this kit around until I can find a better color match. The touch-up paint is very quick drying and odorless. It’s easy and fast to apply layers. Having the paint in a small bottle with an applicator makes things super convenient! Also, even with the slightly imperfect color match, things still look better than they did at a glance. The stains/cracks are not as obvious and you don’t notice them as much. It’s a good temporary solution for us until we can do a better job.I think if you can find a perfect color match, this kit will work out even better for you. But I wouldn’t always expect the appliance or tile to look as good as new due to the texture/finish issues I mentioned. If you go into this with the intention to disguise rather than to seek complete perfection, you’ll be happier with the product.

Great touch up if you get a matching color
The kit came with 3 bottles of touch up paint for appliance touchups mine had 3 bottles 1 black and 2 shades of grey. 1 of the greys was correct for fixing scratch on bathtub . I treated it like a scratch on a car prepared the surface buy sanding it smooth and using the included brush I applied the paint. The scratch is still slightly visa le but only if you new where to look. It’s definitely better than it was before the touch up. If your looking to repair light scratches this paint is fine if the color is matching the original paint. If the scratch is deep I would use a bit of Bondo to smooth the surface first. In the past I would bring a sample of the color to a local auto body supply store and get a small bottle of automotive touch up that usually cost around $40 but that solution is only good if the area is not in a high traffic location as it doesn’t wear as well as paints made for appliances.

Covers very well
Our stove is an old gas stove, but it works really well and the oven still heats evenly. The ceramic top has a few dings that I was hoping we could fix with this and it did a pretty good job. Unless you know where to look and get really close like I did to get the after photo, it'd be pretty hard to find the spots where it was chipped. The whites are shaded slightly, so I was able to get a very close match. My skills could be better, but apart from a fairly long dry time, I'd say this works pretty well. There are a few other spots that need touch ups and we have an old sink that could some assistance too.
