Easy to Start, and Built Solid
This pressure washer has been excellent so far. It started easily and delivered plenty of cleaning power for the different surfaces I used it on. The strong water pressure removed stubborn dirt and buildup much faster than smaller pressure washers I have owned. The frame and overall construction feel solid and made for serious work. Despite its power, the machine has been reliable and straightforward to operate. Overall, I am very satisfied with its performance. It is powerful, well built, easy to start, and dependable. I would recommend it to anyone who needs more cleaning power than a typical residential pressure washer provides.

Never worked and no assistance
Worked for about 5 mins. Couldn’t reach anyone for support and after many hours of research finally got in touch with someone that said you have to take it to a local service center. Took to local service center after I was told they were one of the ones to take it to by a Simpson employee. Turns out they don’t service those engines. Called back and spoke to someone else who gave no information. Tried to start it again to see if I could get it to work on my own. Got it working, worked for 10 mins before spewing white oily substance everywhere. Called back, told to take it to a service center for warranty work. No phone number for warranty dept to check status. Local service tech says they are having trouble ordering parts. Called the Simpson support back, she was less than helpful and told me there’s no one else I can call and these things just take time. If you’re thinking about buying a Simpson, run the other way. The lady said I can’t call anyone to check and see if the pump is available for order anywhere. It’s just something that happens and will take time. If I could give negative stars I would! Future Simpson owners, good luck cause you’ll need it!

SIMPSON WASHER REVIEW
Great affordable investment if you want an absolute beast of a 4gpm unit. Quality seems pretty pristine and its got a whole ton of power for any job, instructions are simple and it's super easy to put together. I don't like the stand thing for the wand, it will constantly fall from the stand if not like perfectly balanced in the rack thing, that's a super easy fix though👍.

Hard Working American Man!!
This Simpson Power Washer is very solid and easy to get going. The only complaint that I have at the moment is the machine not having any type of support around it while being shipped. It arrived in a box that looked like it had been thrown around a few times. Once I opened it, I noticed that the gas tank had a fairly large dent in it. The tank was also scraped up. The two small rubber legs that keep the unit sitting flush were all tore up also. I didn’t notice any other issues. They really need to fix their shipping issues. For the price that the hard working middle class American pays for this little bad to the bone machine, the least Simpson can do is support the machine a whole lot better during shipping.

Great entry level commercial system
Product was very easy to set up and start using. The kit comes with everything you need except water and a water hose. Great entry level commercial pressure washer.

Great value for a commercial unit!
This has been an excellent pressure washer, starts easily, fairly moderate on gas, amazing flow. Slightly heavy as a unit and the box did come damaged but no issues with the equipment. The only complaint I have is that the wheels are not tight in the axle which causes them to wobble when rolling it around.

Professional grade performance at a reasonable price
This machine is a replacement for an older Kärcher 3100 PSI that finally gave out. The difference in cleaning power is immediately noticeable. The combination of 4400 PSI and 4.0 GPM is what separates this from lower-end electric and gas machines — higher pressure plus more water volume means faster, more thorough cleaning. I used it on decks, a patio, and siding, and the results were excellent. Assembly was straightforward and packaging was solid. Build quality is generally impressive: real pneumatic rubber tires (not cheap plastic), a quality hose with quick disconnects , and an AAA pump that builds pressure instantly — no lag when you pull the trigger like I had with my old machine. The CRX 420 engine appears to be a clone of the Honda engine. It started on the first pull, and ran without issue. The soap dispenser also works noticeably better than what I was used to. One frustration: a small plastic knob shattered during assembly. I tried reaching customer service via email and phone. I ended up buying a replacement at Menards for $5, so it’s a minor fix — but the lack of support response is worth noting. Bottom line: this may be overkill for someone who pressure washes once a year, but if you’re tackling bigger jobs or want a machine that will last, it’s worth the investment.
