I bought this Calf brace as an alternative to a calf compression sleeve while I was recovering from a calf muscle rupture. This brace is MUCH more comfortable than a compression calf sleeve. A compression sleeve would lead to swelling in my foot. This brace, because it is adjustable, did not cause additional swelling in my foot. Highly recommend! Also, pay attention to the size chart when it says that size recommendation is the max size. Size up!

I’m a 76-yeaer-old cancer patient who got nerve pain in his lower legs due to reaction from medication. As a result I got these Calf Braces to provide a barrier for my sensitive leg skin from blankets and sheets as well as seat cushions when I’m here at my computer.They do that job fantastically well and I wear them most of the day and all night. I even found out that when I shower and forget to take them off, they dry very quickly. My only problem with them, and it’s minor, is that there are two distinct sides to each brace and two distinct orientations, up and down as well. But with only one, monochromatic black color, it’s harder than necessary to find out how to put them on.There’s a Velcro side on the outside and a smooth side on the inside. There’s also a wide side for your calf muscle and a narrow side for your lower leg. A simple ribbon-ring on the outside top in a blue color is all that’s needed to clear things up. If you decide to do this, let me know and I’ll buy another pair from you. 😊

My Mom is 86 and has problems with swelling in her lower legs. She has worn support socks for years. Recently she was unable to get socks on, so I ordered these for her. She has been using them for a few weeks and she said they work better than socks, are easier to put on, and actually isn’t having swelling much at all. AND best of all, she can do these by herself!

Bought these for my elderly father's lower calf whom suffers from edema swelling, glad you get a pair, we made it work, by using the velcro to connect both together, turning it into one, its the only way to wrap the entire lower leg, they do help and we have seen improvement in the leg. , less swelling , these are great being machine washable too, he wears outside in the element's cutting grass , weedeating, so the brace also protects his leg from any injury that may occur doing these activities, recommend line dry after washing, order larger size for sure, we measured and still were several inches off
