The tool was only 2" tall and broke with almost no effort when trying to remove the cartridge. I can't believe this would be an OEM item if there wasn't a brand name on it like the picture shows on the amazon website. It is hard to tell if the "pitch" is stating that it is a tool for removing "an OEM cartridge" or if it is being sold as an "OEM tool". The tool I received when ordering this item was definitely not an OEM item. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works as advertised *by E***D on Reviewed in the United States on 19 May 2024* Easy to use. Seems to work as advertised. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Must Have Tool! *by D***M on Reviewed in the United States on 9 January 2024* If you have the Sloan FlushMate tank/flush system then this tool is a must (picture 1)! There are several ways to remove the FlushMate cartridge but this is by far the easiest method. I have four of these systems and all will need to be replaced in 1-2 years.This was especially helpful since I have a "banjo" style countertop (picture 2) over two of my toilet tanks which make it more difficult to get the cartridge out. The cartridge tool slips right down over the cartridge and then you have a choice of additional tools to use to operate the cartridge tool. Notice there is a square hole in the top of the cartridge tool (picture 3). Unfortunately, a 1/2" driver will not fit into that square hole; I consider this the only flaw in the cartridge tool. A Crescent Wrench (adjustable spanner wrench), a 7/8" socket or a 7/8" combination wrench will work to operate the cartridge tool. The cartridge tool made this into a 10 minute evolution vice taking much much longer without it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worked like a champ! *by S***E on Reviewed in the United States on 8 August 2024* Couldn’t do the job without it.
