It does the job.
This is an integrated solar panel and controller. I can plug my phone or battery directly into the two USB ports in the controller, although there are a couple of ports and adapters I haven't used yet. It folds up nicely and if the sun is shining, it has charged up my 4000mAh phone from about 40% to 100% in 2-3 hours or so. You can also leave it in the car open and have a battery plugged into it. It works best in full sun, and needs to be facing the sun full-on to work well. It's a fun little thing to take on a camping holiday that may help you out.

Enjoying the freedom
The 100w panel is light and durable seem well made. Very easy to set up and use straight out of the box. The angel to the sun and sun strength is critical to output and just getting this wrong even just slightly has big power reductions. On a March sunny UK day I was able to charge my tablet in 2.5hrs, small portable power pack (5 iPhone charges worth) in 4hrs. My 500w solar generator went from 64% to 100% in 5hrs. To put that in context this was one night of using a CPAP machine and LED lights. However this does require active management repositioning the panel to follow the sun and ensuring no shade not even a tiny bit. This is not a fault this is the very nature of harnessing solar power. So in March in the UK I have not had more than 48w being delivered. It's clear that as sun strength improves as the year goes on this output will improve. My next campsite visit will not include a power supply and that means I'm much more of a free spirit and can use sites that are wilder.

Good So Far
Delivered on time and seems to perform as advertised. Produces around 40W charging power in average sunlight. Used it to charge a smart watch, mobile phone and battery pack at the same time. Carry case is cool too. So far so good.

No so sure this was a good buy
After reading reviews, I decided to take a chance on this and hope I haven't made an expensive mistake, I bought the Powkey 200w solar generator/battery to go with this, after 18hours of sunshine, it made no noticeable progress on creating a charge (its a bit hard to tell since the lights only go in 25% levels and no indication of progress in between) The battery came 50% charged and the 75% light was still flashing after 18 hours. I have now plugged it into the mains to try to get it to 100% on the assumption that the solar panel may just be about topping up as opposed to creating power from solar I can use. After an hour on mains charging, the battery is now upto 75% so I am confident its not the solar generator. Perhaps it was a bit much to hope that we have enough sunshine in the UK to create a charge even though the specs tell me different? It has been sunny the last 3 days though so I am not sure what the problem is. The instructions are very basic and there is no troubleshooting to help me. Quite apart from this, although heavy, the solar panel itself appears to have a good quality build - no complaints there. I will keep trying even though I suspect that this is going to prove to be an expensive experiment.

Good buy.
Very good product but here in the UK your just about hit about 50w during summer time. But coupled with a good battery it can bea useful backup.

Humblest apologies for previous review. Delivered no probs
Apologies if previous review was listed, bit of mix up on my behalf. Delivered on time and so far so good. Feels like a quality product, packs away nice and easy, lots of connection options 2xUSB 1xDC. Am using a Powerkey mini portable power unit (came on a bundle offer)on a cloudy day and am getting a slow steady charge. For my first tentative step into the world of solar, this has been a pretty painless and positive experience. Ideal for camping trips or a shed for keeping bits charged(tools,phone/tablet,fan etc) Definitely recommended.......so far

Worked straight away.
I tried it straight away, and it charged my smart phone from 16% to 100% within two hours on a sunny afternoon. This is roughly the same as mains electric. The panels look well made, and it is neatly designed. It is large when opened out, but the size of a large laptop case when folded. So far I am very happy.

Excellent solar panel
The media could not be loaded. I bought this Powkey 100W solar panel to go with my Powkey Portable power supply. I like to go camping and fishing a lot and this portable energy source is an absolute must. This solar panel comes with all the connections you will need including the option to directly charge a phone, tablet or other USB device by connecting it to the solar panel via USB or even USB C. You can also charge up power banks or like me your portable power station. It is extremely good at charging up devices on sunny days out which is exactly why I bought it.I love how this solar panel folds down to a briefcase size package with a zip compartment for your cables and connectors so everything is kept neat and tidy.Overall I have been delighted by the quality of this solar panel and look forward to payday when I can go and buy another one to make my set up complete. For the following reasons I have decided to rate it 5 stars:Excellent qualityNice folding sizeGood connecting optionsFast charging for devicesGood zip compartment for cables
