Sensitive Skin Protection from Adhesive
This product worked great on sensitive skin. We put it on our child’s arm before applying an adhesive medical device and it prevents a rash/burn from the adhesive sitting on the skin. It worked so well we will use it before applying bandaids and will try other applications where adhesive has caused problems on the skin.

Thank you for making a product like TapeRelief!
While going to Nursing School (RN) I did work in nursing homes / hospitals for years.I have seen many residents with paper thin skins. Unfortunately as we age this is almost inevitable. Using surgical tape on the elderly is incredibly risky, therefore. You never want to witness anyone of them ever getting a skin tear! It is absolutely horrible! Not to mention that it would create a new opening on the body where bacteria can easily enter. All in all; using tape CAN cause skin tears! When I first saw this product, I got very excited as my 73 year old father-in -law has a colostomy bag. Colostomy bags are really hectic, first of all they can leak if they are not glued on correctly. They are always "in the way, and you always have to change them every so often. The glue can irritate the skin. I saw patients whose skin had become "raw" in these areas, they would literally cry while we were trying to change their bags.Grandpaw has not had a chance to try this product yet, as he lives a few hours away from us. I cannot wait to give it to me! He does have very thin skin and I am sure he would very much appreciated. As he was not available "on-site" to test TapeRelief with me, I had decided to go ahead and test it on myself!I put a small amount of TapeRelief on the back of my hand; gently massaged it into my skin. Just within a minute my skin had started feeling drier. silkier, almost as if I had put a very thin layer of baby powder on it. Then I put a large band aid over my hand and waited a minute or two. When removing the band aid I did not experience any irritations. I did feel some pain, but it was not bad at all. No redness, no irritations. Please note that I received this product either free of charge or for a heavily discounted price. All opinions are my own.

Works great!
I decided to try this after getting very bad "tape blisters" from supposedly non-allergenic steripads that were put on my after my biopsy. I did not even know such a thing existed as this product. I used it for my large pads I had covering my surgical sites and not only did I not get any blisters, the tape from the surgical pads came off easily without leaving any tape residue behind. I will keep this product on hand because I cannot predict when my skin will react to tape adhesive. This product would have saved me weeks of recovering from my tape blisters.
