I bought this to put a Indian headdress on. But it's to small for it. It's okay to put a hat or wig on it. It's not heavy and the looks of it looks good nothing tacky looking. Easy to put together.

My husband recently retired, so I wanted something rustic to "hang his hat on." This is beautiful. The only thing I'd change is changing the hat bulb surface to have more grip, like cover it in velvet, so that I can position the hat at an angle. The brass is pretty, but no one sees it. The hat slides out of position often, even if you just put it on straight, so I'm going to have to apply something for it to stay in place and not end up vertical. But, it's really nice for rustic decor.

Nicer looking I thought than the average hat display rack. Put my Dad's hat on it - the one he used to wear from my memories as a kid as he went to work each morning. Back then, every man wore a hat. Nice way to display a loving remembrance to someone as well as putting your own special hat on it!
