I bought the larger size because my baby is tall for his age and wears 6-9 month clothes. This sleep sack is waaay too big for him. He will grow into it, I hope, but if your baby is wearing 6 month clothes, you'll need the smaller size.Otherwise seems to be very nice quality.Edit: I washed the sleep sack, and it shrank a bit (as cotton will do) and it turned out very nice and soft.
