I have two performance t-shirts, and also a performance polo shirt by Joe's USA. One t-shirt is made in Madagascar, the other is made in China. The polo is made in Vietnam. Suffice it to say they are not made in the USA, but they are good quality for the price. I have other similar more expensive brand-name shirts that are also made in China.

I am 6' even. About 165. I ordered the medium, and it was VERY loose on me. Far too loose for my taste, I ended up returning it. I think it would work well for you, though. Large would be much too big unless you like an extremely relaxed fit.
