Review: Excellent quality tap. - Lovely tap, well made and looks great. It had a different bottom screw type to our old tap. This was a lot bigger and lead to the 10 minute job of swapping them out, becoming a lot more involved needing to make adaptions to cabinet below and pull sink out of place to make indents into worktop. However, due to this it is much more secure than the tap put in by the water filtration company upon installation. Well worth the hassle we had when installing it in our space.

**Q: What would be the minimum possible size of whole needed for the tap to go into the worktop**
A: that information will be given with the kit but were talking about 1/2" or 3/4"  you would not drill the hole until you have purchased the unit

**Q: Is the surface material really chrome? The photos are a bit unclear regarding the surface quality. Is it shiny chrome or a brushed finish?**
A: It’s a chrome finish - it’s a nice tap. However be warned that the threaded portion is quite short and it’s not long enough to go through a 40mm worktop.

**Q: can I buy a replacement cartridge when the tap leaks and how much is it?**
A: The tap is very well-made/robust and it shouldn't leak unless it is really, really old. Is it still under guarantee?  Where exactly is the leak?

Not a bad filter tap. The neck feels a bit flimsy and that's all that's holding it back from 5*. It is actually quite good for the money. No leaks on initial installation. Tool-free fitting which I was grateful for, as it's not an easy position to access.
