Ardell Lash Accent Pair 318 (Pack of 4)

I must confess, I'm an absolute disaster when it comes to applying false lashes. The list of possible issues is nearly endless but can be summed up by saying that when I apply lashes usually end up looking like a glue filled, crooked disaster with one eye glued partially shut. Welllll, not with these babies! The strip is approximately half the length of other lashes and the pop right on! In addition, they are the absolute perfect length; long enough to look really feminine and pretty but not so long that they look obviously fake. I wear these both in the day, and in the evening. Oh, and just in case you're a novice like me, here's the technique I use: 1. Take a good black eye pencil (I like urban decay's Perversion), and use it in the waterline and in between the lashes of the upper eyelid. This keeps the whole lash line area looking uniformly dark and lush. 2. Use a black liquid eyeliner, preferrably one with that hybrid of a brush/felt tip pen like Kat Von D's liquid liner right along the lash line. Make the line a bit thicker than you'd usually do if you weren't wearing false lashes. This line is great because the dark makes it impossible to notice if when you glue your false lash on it isn't perfectly snuggled up against your own lashes. 3. Apply black mascara. I use quite a bit of in on the inside half of my eyes so that my lashes blend right in with the falsies, and just a hint of it on the outside half to make the color of my natural lashes match the fake ones. 4. Take the lashes and gently take both ends of the lash and manipulate the band to soften it (watch a youtube video on lash application if you're not sure what I'm talking about) This makes the band less rigid so it will conform to the shape of your lid. 5. Use Duo's dark/black glue. Again, this keeps the whole area dark and uniform to keep any imperfections from being noticable. 6. Once you have the glue places along the band of the lashes wait 30 seconds or more to let the glue settle and get a little bit tacky. I don't know that it really helps, but I blow on it during that time, if nothing else it makes the time go faster. 7. Then put the lash in the outer corner of your eye. If needed I use a tooth pick to nudge the corners into place or slightly adjust the positioning. 8. If needed, add a little more eyeliner to smooth out the area where the lash ends and it transitions into your own lash, and BOOM! Beautiful and reasonably natural looking lashes.

I'm not well aquatinted with falsies. I've never worn them before, so these are my first -- and after a bit of fumbling to get them on, I can say that they probably look fantastic! I'm self conscious on a good day, so if I'm going to be entirely honest here I'm afraid to be seen in them (sad, I know, but I'm still working on the whole 'be confident in yourself' bit), but that is in NO WAY a fault of the product! The lashes were much easier to apply than I'd expected - I've heard falsies can be a nightmare, these only took me a couple of minutes to get right - and the band holding them on is practically invisible. They aren't too uncomfortable either! I've heard that after a couple of hours you won't even notice them on; it's great if that's true, but if it isn't, oh well. These don't bother me. They aren't super heavy or cumbersome. I will say that they've been catching on my hair, though, since my fringe falls into my face. Hopefully that won't be too much of a problem (don't want them to get pulled off or moved around). Do they look natural? I don't know. I can tell I'm wearing them, but I haven't shown them to anyone yet (today is my first day with them on, it's 9 am, I don't have work, and my boyfriend is out running errands), so who knows if they're noticeable enough someone would look at me and think "that woman has fake lashes on". I do know that they are MUCH subtler than the thick, long, dramatic falsies I'm used to seeing, and according to everyone here who is actually familiar with lashes, they look natural -- so I'd take stock in their opinions more than mine. I'm just not used to it, and I get nervous when I put on any makeup at all haha!

These lashes will give your eyes a little lift without using a full lash. I used them for a party, and they stayed on very will with Duo lash glue. The accent lashes are also much easier to remove in my opinion.

Very good for my everyday makeup and natural look

My eyes have never been able to wear fake eyelashes, they are too small and the bands are so uncomfortable. Enter Ardell Accents! i do my mascara a usual and then put these babies on my corners. So natural and almost looks like lash extensions. They are super duper easy to put on. They last a while If you clean them plus you get four sets so it’s a great deal! I’ve never seen them in any stores but they are always prime on here so I don’t mind at all.

I have smaller lashes and this are the perfect touch to add just a little bit of flare. They aren't flashy like the full length lashes but they make my lashes noticeable. I get compliments all the time that my eyelashes are awesome. I also like these because they only go on the tips of my eye line and so if they are put on correctly, they look so natural. And plus these are super easy to put on!! Love love love these!

These are exactly like description i used to buy these at Sally’s but they’re so hard to find and expensive! These are perfect for every day ware, they look very natural gives you a nice cat eye, and also so easy to put on.. Will definitely buy these again..

Always a great lash to use.. only a corner lash so it’s extremely easy to apply. I have ordered these many of times.

Love them! Look natural and are the perfect fit for my eyes! The ones I usually buy from the supermarket are too long, I always have to trim them. But these fit great!
