This is a very lightly exfoliating toner & pad kit. I have very dry, sensitive skin that also gets dehydrated quite easily. I try to be careful w/exfoliating products, even the ones that are supposed to be mild as they are often a bit harsh and irritating. This one is indeed gentle, and I haven't experienced any redness or excess drying. However, after the first few uses, I limit use to two or three times per week; I use it all over my face on my weekly 'spa day' and in any given week, I will use it once or maybe twice, but just focusing on the nose and chin and surrounding areas where I am dealing with enlarged pores and the occasional blemish. From the ingredients, I expected this toner to have a bit of scent, but I can't really smell much of anything. The pads are small but feel sturdy and they are very well saturated without actually swimming in the liquid. The toner feels smooth and is cooling and has the consistency I have come to expect from using other products containing birch juice. Not exactly sticky and not thick, but sort of slick. It is slow to absorb/dry. If I apply it in the morning, t does make me want to rinse it off after a while, so I just use it at night, sometimes followed by a serum and cream but more often with nothing added, since it is still summer and I can get away with using lighter skin care products for a while. It does seem to help clarify my skin but I haven't really noticed a difference on a couple of small hyper pigmented areas, and my pores are about the same (my main reason for wanting to try this). The current price of $48.00 seems a bit high to me, although I do think this is a well formulated product. It feels different than my other toner/pad combinations, but the results aren't so different, so I am not sure I would actually buy this again.

Since I work mostly from home, I need not wear makeup all the time. Still, I use cleansing pads daily, alongside regular face washing. I simply substituted these for my usual pads and have been very pleased. They are quite nice.Sturdy, textured material keeps together well, (my boyfriend used a few and they even held up to his stubble-face!). They have a faint and pleasant aroma... sort of herbal, if not floral. Although made with licorice, they don’t smell like it, (thank goodness).The pads are saturated with liquid out of the container, down to the last one. We have used these for over a month and there are a few left. There’s zero chance these dry out on you, unless the lid were left off, I suppose.When I first used a pad, I was slightly surprised by the subtle “lather” that is produced when cleaning my face and neck. Initially, I thought it strange, but I’ve been using the same brand of cleansing pads for a long while. Now, after using these for weeks, I love the sudsy sensation. It’s like a thin and bubbly froth that leaves your skin feeling clean. There is a slight tingle to my face afterwards... a nice, mild effervescence. There’s no medicinal or alcohol/antiseptic feeling. They are simple and refined, different than anything I’ve ever used.Now, nearing the bottom of the container, I need to decide about buying more.Expectedly, the cost for these plant active peel pads reflects high quality, responsibly sourced goods from a progressive, small and independent business. Per pad, they are over 90 cents more expensive, (19x more), than my usual choice, (your average alcohol-based pad from a big-named brand).So, it’s a decision to weigh for sure.If cleansing pads are your thing, I can’t picture a better product.I’ve included a few pictures. I appreciate that these are plant based, and the active ingredients seem like they would be amazing for your skin. However I found them to not work like a normal peel pad. They have a foamy residue (as shown on my arm picture) that made it feel like it needed to be rinsed off. Then my face was extremely sticky afterwards. This is not the experience I’ve had with other peel pads, so I’m disappointed with these. I’m thinking that the best way to use them would be to rinse afterwards, but that kind of negates the value of the ingredients. The pad itself does get into your pores well but the foaming and stickiness are not for me.

Not only sis these do a good job of removing makeup, they are also very handy for traveling.

I like these pads! I appreciate the message, too. All natural, vegan, woman owned. Woo! Only one pad is needed for face and neck. My face/neck feels cleaner & less texturized after use. I choose to follow my regular regimen (wash my face with my regular cleanser first) & Then use one of these pads afterwards. I think the price point is a bit high for me personally, considering it's not replacing anything in my daily skincare regimen, it's simply an addition.

I really like these peel pads. They definitely remove dead skin cells and leave my face feeling clean. I love that they don't have a perfumed smell and the texture of the pad has a nice scrub to it. Recommended!

These Fitglow Beauty Plant Peel Pads make my skin feel really clean and look glowy. It should be noted that these aren’t for cleansing your skin, they’re used on clean skin. They have a planty scent. I’m enjoying using them after I cleanse in the morning, before applying makeup.

🍃 my skin noticeably softerI appreciate the amount of moisture in each pad; there is A LOT of moisture and I would suggest protecting outerwear or completing this task over a sink.There is a noticeable scent- a soft scent.As photographed the suds are very present as they will be on your skin.I did experience a slight tingly feeling as I was applying/cleaning my face.Once I was done I felt more comfortable rinsing and allowing my face to air dry. My skin felt tighter and smoother.
