Just buy it already!
I was a little concerned at first when trying to view things around inside home. Most objects looked a little out of focus and images weren't very crisp, despite attempting to focus them. I later realized that the base magnification of 25X is too powerful for viewing at distances much under 30-40 feet. When I took it to the shooting range, I found the spotting scope to be excellent. Images were bright and crisp at 50 and 100 yards. I did not require much more than 25X magnification at 100 yards in order to see holes in white paper against a white background in a snow-covered field. The SVBONY spotting scope is surprising light and made sighting in my buddy's AR a piece of cake. We only had to trudge through snow to the 100-yard line once to hang targets. I would imagine that the magnification would be adequate for target shooting to 250 or 300 yards. The scope caps and carrying bag are pretty basic (no cap retention or case padding) but do the job adequately. The tripod feels a little flimsy at first but is well designed and allows you to lock in rotation and elevation with authority. This spotting scope does not allow for the rotation of the body along the scope's axis, but this was not problematic in any way, and it was comfortable to view with from a seated position with the scope on a table in front of me. I think the scope is light enough that it may be prone to blowing over in moderate to high winds. Overall, this is an excellent spotting scope for range use and would probably serve you well for birding or other observing as well. I did not have a chance to try the scope out in low light but may try to view the Orion Nebula in the coming days, if the weather improves. Buy with confidence.

Clear Optics and Great Value
This spotting scope exceeded my expectations for the price. The optics are bright and sharp, and it’s perfect for birdwatching, target shooting, and casual stargazing. 🔹 Optical Performance The 70mm objective lens and 25–75x zoom provide crisp, detailed views (page 3 – product description: “SV28 Beginners spotting scope with FMC objective lens”). The BAK4 prism and FMC coating enhance clarity and brightness, making it easy to spot distant targets clearly (page 4 – comparison of Bak4 vs other prisms). 🔹 Practical Design The angled eyepiece and smooth focus wheel make it comfortable and easy to use, even for long sessions (page 3 – “Smooth Focus Wheel / Easy to Operate” diagram). The included tripod and phone adapter add great value, letting you stabilize your view and capture photos (page 1 – product listing features tripod + adapter). ✅ Pros: Bright, clear optics with 25–75x magnification Large 70mm lens gathers plenty of light Angled design with smooth focus wheel Comes with tripod and phone adapter Great value for beginners or casual users ❌ Cons: Included tripod is a bit lightweight; sturdier one recommended for long sessions Overall: An affordable spotting scope with excellent optical quality for the price. Ideal for beginners or hobbyists looking for a versatile scope for nature, range, or sky viewing.

Great scope, don't use the phone mount
This spotting scope is genuinely probably the best deal you'll come across online for a spotting scope, it's crystal clear at 100 yards and allows me to see hits on paper even at the lowest magnification setting, the tripod feels a little flimsy but not bad, the screw holds the scope firmly and doesn't let it move around at all, the only problem I've had with this scope is the lens covers tend to just fall off with basically no effort and the phone mount is pretty terrible, it could just be my phone camera but I can never get it to fill the screen and be clear, it's always blurry and never fills in properly on the screen, not to mention it mounts on the zoom dial so if the phone is any bit heavy it rotates the zoom knob from weight alone and messes with image quality even more. The instruction manual for both are very lackluster as well, pretty sure you'd get better help from a grandmother with both dementia and down syndrome. But that being said if you completely forget trying to use the phone mount this works amazing using your eyes and the price can not be beat for the quality you get.

Great for beginners!
I am new at birding. I do a ton of stuff outside during the spring and summer. Once fall and winter hit I don't have a ton of outdoor chores and it's depressing. I decided to start feeding the birds over the winter so I'd have feeders to keep up with, aka, outside winter chores. Initially I was just excited to get pictures of the birds I was feeding. One day I was sitting outside with my merlin app running and I heard a hawk. I also saw them. They're red shouldered hawks and they're nesting in a neighbors tree. I found their nest and I've been watching them carefully. I bought the scope to capture their journey into parenthood. I will admit, using the scope initially was a little difficult, but I've gotten the hang of it. Once you have it sighted in it's just a quick turn of the dial to focus. We went out to a wildlife area this weekend, going to share some scope pics from that. I honestly love this thing! For the price I really do think it's a steal. We were very far away from these pelicans and I got such good pictures of them!

Great spotting scope for the range
This is a really good entry level spotting scope for new shooters like me. I can see my shots clearly at 50 and 100 yards at the range. Scope and mount seem very sturdy considering the price and has great focus at 100 yards. I can read the letters off the target I'm using.

Optics aren't what I hoped they would be
The scope as a good build quality, and seems well built for the price. My issue with it is the optical quality. The image is dim, and never quite can get it into focus like I'd like. Overall works well for casual use like looking at distant objects like mountains or ships, but would not be good for spotting game or target practice.

Clearly a 5 star purchase.
Simple to use and set up. Focus is easy, zoom is a nice feature. For the price it is awesome. My granddaughter loves it. I wish I had bought more at the sales price. It is light and with the bag convenient to take it anywhere. Looks good and the quality is more than I expected.

Great Value for the Money!
My bird watching friends recommended spotting scopes that were way out of my price range! Scopes with prices up to $2,500! I decided as a hobbyist birder I would first try an entry level scope. After reading reviews, I decided on the Gosky 20-60X80. Oh my, was I shocked when I received the scope. It is very solid and of a really nice quality, better than I had expected. It is easy to use, has a sharp focus knob and magnification knob. The included bag is a bit tight and hard to get the scope in and out of but the included tabletop tripod is perfectly adequate. I have mounted the scope to a full size tripod I used for DSLR photography so I have more adjustments and can use it on the ground. You can see the photos I took with the included mobile phone adapter (20X scope magnification and 2X iPhone lens). Check out the video of the Downey Woodpeckers. (20X scope magnification 1X iPhone) They were all taken during cloudy weather, so the light was really not great. I guess the only small drawback to this scope is it is good but not great in low light, especially on higher magnification. I find that by putting the phone on the scope makes it much more comfortable than keeping your eye on the eyepiece, especially when waiting for a bird to land on the feeder. I do like the adjustable eyepiece relief. Is it a $2500 scope, no, but for $125 it is a good, solid scope that gives a clear magnified view so I can identify and photograph birds. I bought it as a starter scope, but as a hobbyist I am not sure why I would spend another $1000+ to upgrade to something that is perhaps marginally better, unless perhaps I was a professional.

Telescopio

Crisp Optics, Great Build – Unbeatable Value for Money!
I bought this compact spotting scope for my mountain trips and couldn't be happier with the purchase. The scope is highly portable, fits perfectly in the included padded carrying bag, and is light enough to take along without adding much bulk. What I Loved - 1. Image Clarity: Insanely clear optics, especially for the price. It’s genuinely surprising how crisp the view is even at higher zoom levels. 2. Ease of Use: The controls and setup are very intuitive. Even as a beginner, I had no trouble getting started. 3. Accessories: The phone adapter is sturdy and holds the phone firmly. The tripod is legit - strong, steady, and well-balanced. I was a bit skeptical about the vertical panning handle holding the combined weight of the scope and phone, but it handled it well with zero strain. A Small Gripe - The front lens cap fits a little loosely. It doesn’t snap on very securely and might fall off in a bumpy bag or rough handling. Not a deal-breaker, but worth noting. P.S.: In the pics/videos attached, the zoom level was at 25x (it goes all the way up to 75x). Let me be clear, the smartphone camera does not do justice to the real clarity you get when viewing directly through the eyepiece. It looks way better in person!
