Good product
These worked great , had to tie down my 10×16 shed to get county to sign off building permit (even tho prob ways 3k lbs). Had to go thru crusher run and black top millings and this made my life bit easier. Only flaw is the top part of the end of drive rod that inserts into anchor is squared, if it was rounded off going back to rod it would pull back out easier with out getting hung up on ground, hard to get rod back out because that hangs up. Otherwise great idea.

Strong
Easy to install and very strong. They keep our metal lawn art secure from thiefs.

So far so good
Seem to work well after initial install. Only issue is a little difficulty getting the hammering rod out after setting the anchors.

Great working anchors
Bought these to tie down a platform deer stand. Feels like they would hold it down easily in an Oklahoma wind storm.

Should have read the reviews
The good, product is sturdy. The bad, you can't remove the drive rod after pounding the anchors into the ground. I had 4 to install and after pounding the first one into the ground I had to dig out 18" and pull and pull to get the rod out. The second anchor the same thing. So, after wasting hours trying to get the drive rod out I decided to try a third time (what do they say about doing the same thing and expecting different results?) The third one was the worse no matter what I did I couldn't get the rod out. So, after wasting an entire afternoon I cut off the drive rod buried it and threw away the rest of the anchors.

Drive rod punches right through the anchor Tip, which is NOT welded shut.
This product could have so much going for it if it weren’t for the lack of a little bit of effort. The Steel chisel tip is simply folded into shape. It is NOT WELDED SHUT. So the end of the chisel tip has a folded piece of steel, which simply pops out and unfolds as you’re driving the rod into it TO SECURE/anchor it into the ground. I believe there are many other customers mentioning same issue. After much frustration, I dug around in the garage and managed to find a long piece of rebar, that was a bit larger in diameter than the drive rod for this product. Using the rebar, I hammered it into the ground, pulling it out occasionally to make sure it didn’t get stuck. Once I got to a good depth, use the product drive rod to effortlessly insert the anchor tip. I then gave the pull wire a good yank. I lost about 6 inches before it did finally anchor. But then it worked. I highly recommend anyone using this product, especially at the longer length (I used 33” cable) to follow my example and save yourself a lot of hard work and frustration. I used three of these for a 20’+ Alaska, weeping pine tree that had been ripped from the ground after a storm. That was three months ago, and the cables are holding, and the tree is still standing up. I do recommend the product and I would use it again, just be aware you’re gonna need to find something else to drive into the ground prior to using this product.

Anchors
We used this product to make anchors for our metal wellpump house. Now the winds won't demolish it. Looks great.
