Cheap and sturdy; not sure how long it'll last but it's cheap.

Sturdy, great quality, good price
I'm a bit of a tool snob - I only want to have sturdy, high quality tools available for use. Mom let me inherit Dad's tools when he passed on condition that I find her pink tools for her use if needed. (Its mostly just a comfort thing. She's not handy.) I found a great set of pink tools that met my quality standards, but it lacked diagonal cutters. Thanks to other reviewers I chose these. I'm very happy with their construction, strength and sharpness. Probably most appropriate for women as the spread is a bit small and the handles are shorter. Definitely a good purchase for the price.

Cutting edges not suitable for harder materials.
These are not heavy duty wire cutters. Use a different tool for less than 12 gage. Ideal for small light gage wire.

But that is my problem. Solid, well made, good grip covering. I use them for cutting chicken wire. They are quite small. I am keeping them, and will invest in a larger pair.
