Fit old SIAMP with original diameter 68mm (Note: no circular recess, otherwise drawing is accurate)
Solved the leak. Original was 68mm, but replacement was slightly larger diameter (an improvement if anything). This may be due to shrinkage... comes to us all I suppose!! ;) Note that the drawing incorrectly shows a cicrular recess on the upper face of the rubber seal: the one received was plain on both sides, matching the original perfectly. I guessed correctly! Tip: when turning the plunger assembly acw to disengage/unlick it, but sure to hold the base in place (prevent it from unscrewing itself). Try a large flat screwdriver to carefully 'assist' with this. Also, be sure to remove all limescale etc from the output, using remover fluid/gel - ie don't use anything abrasive (small scratch = small leak... again!). Good product. Should probably buy another... though it looks like it will outlast the original, meaning keeping the spare for 15+ years! This completes my review of a lump of rubber!
