It’s been about 20 years since I did embroidery so I wanted to start simple. This was clear and concise and turned out beautifully. I did skip the white thread as it is a gift for a visually impaired person so the texture between colors is invaluable to them. You may think, like I did, that you won’t have enough beads but I had about 10 left after everything else was done. And plenty of left over thread of the colors I did use.This specific one is a beginner pattern. 2 simple stitches that are easy enough to figure out and hard to mess up. Although I admittedly watched a YouTube video on the stem stitch because the illustrations weren’t working for me.Overall, so far, this is a good beginner to intermediate kit and has a lovely result.

This looks to be a nice product and a very good value for the money. I have not worked the kits so I cannot speak to that. I will only include my first impressions.I bought the multi kit that includes three bird and flower designs. Each kit comes with three needles and the appropriate colored threads. Included are an embroidery hoop and a very inexpensive set of blunt nosed scissors and needle threader. These may be good for children as the scissor finger loops will be too tiny for most adults. But their inclusion makes for a complete starter set for those who need them. I advise an immediate upgrade.Two of the designs are on a pale blush pink and the other on pale green. In the product description photos the kit with the autumn leaves looks to be on a pale tan material. It is not. It is on the same light pink as the spring flower kit. Other than that, the color of the background material is true to the description photos. The color is true across the material. The weave is regular and tight. Just right for crewel work. I see no flaws or stains. The design is printed well and easy to see.The threads are very bright and in alluring colors. They make me want to start right away. I am looking forward to working on these kits.

Everything in the kit is good, lots of needles, nicely colored thread, comes with scissors, needle threader and seam ripper.I assume the blue ink will come out in the wash but instructions don't say anything about it. There are also images of the embroidery being used on bags and shirts with no discernible way of doing so. Even for just the basic embroidery part the instructions are extremely minimal and at times inaccurate.Basically physical components are great, instructions are meh.

I have so enjoyed embroidering these butterflies! I have only been doing hand embroidery for a few months, and they weren't too challenging. I've read reviews of people saying that these aren't for beginners. That's not exactly true. The difficulty level on these is definitely beginner. They aren't, however, meant to TEACH you embroidery. I also wouldn't do one of these for a first project. However, if you've learned all the basic stitches, you should be able to easily embroider these butterflies. I also loved the amount of thread included. In some kits, they don't give you enough, but this gave me MORE than enough. I highly recommend this brand!

I am brandy new to embroidery and bought this kit as my first patterns to work on. It is perfect for a new person because there are very few small spaces to stitch. The kit comes with all the thread you need plus needles and hoops. A picture with the thread number and the stitch to use is included. If you are an experienced embroiderer I think you'd be happy with this too.

There an awesome stress reliever. Easy to do.

The kit came with pretty much everything you'll need, other than scissor. The instructions were okay, but not great. I was able to look up some videos to clarify a few things. The materials aren't top tier, but they get the job done, and it was more than enough to finish all the projects. My biggest problem would be the beads that came with it. They were far too small to fit the needle provided. Even with the smallest needle I had many of the beads didn't fit, and a lot ended up breaking trying to make it work. In the end I decided to cut the provided beads out and replace them with some that i bought. So just be aware of that I guess.

I haven’t embroidered in years (and was never advanced back then), so consider myself a beginner. This was not a particularly easy project but figuring it out and producing something worth looking at has been enjoyable. The ‘instructions’ referred to in other reviews are pretty limited and interpreting their meaning was part of the challenge. I did do some online research to understand the stitches better. One challenge in particular was how to position the hoop and make the stitches while not putting pressure on the image because doing so erased the image. One thing to note is that the embroidery thread is especially pretty and shiny.
