WORKS.
I bought this to repair a leaky ABS black tank on my RV, This is extremely fast setting so work quickly and have your surface prepped. THE FINISH IS ALL IN THE PREP. Also another nice tidbit of info. This is exactly the same as a fiberglass bondo kit which gives you alot more product for the price.

Need to work fast but product works well and cures to a smooth and hard surface
This product works as advertised. I have a basketball hoop and the plastic base got cracked. This was able to seal the crack well and the basin is holding water well. We'll see how it stands up over time but the epoxy dried hard and smooth so it looks promising. As noted by others... you need to work fast when using this! My first attempt at using this product didn't work out well as I took too long, and before I had finished painstakingly applying the epoxy mix it grew extremely hot and started to harden before I'd applied much of it. My second attempt I was ready and worked quickly. One thing worth noting is that the epoxy comes out quite runny so if you're applying to a curved surface be aware of that, and you might want to just cut a corner of the epoxy packet so that you are applying a narrow-ish stream with more control than what I initially did. There is more material in here than I initially anticipated.

Really, not for gas tanks.
Didn’t work on a dirt bike gas tank. It did say “not for use on gas tanks” but I wanted to try.

Repaired things well, but this can get HOT
This seemed to work well, and repaired the 140 gallon tank rock solid, but be advised when they say that after mixing the epoxy - that it can get hot. They don't mean hot, they mean HOT and it WILL burn your fingers if you aren't careful. The chemical reaction works fast, so plan on spreading it all out within 60-90 seconds. After that, the bag of the remaining mix will be too hot to even touch, so put it on a paper plate that you can just toss afterwards.I also feel they could give you more epoxy because I felt I was about 10% low. But overall the repair went well, and no leaks at this point in the tank.Highly recommended.

Don't bother - Hardens in 2 minutes, not 8, and gets extremely hot
The instructions specifically state that you have 8 minutes once you've introduced both parts of the epoxy to each other. I kneaded the two together within the package like instructed, until completely mixed, maybe 20 seconds. Cut off a corner of the packet and spread the epoxy on the tank, maybe another 20 seconds. I then put the mesh on top of the spread epoxy and then spread the epoxy on top of the mesh, covering it and brushing it in. Within about 30 seconds, the packet was VERY HOT and already solidifying in clumps inside the packet. I tried to push out any residual that hadn't hardened to save this repair but the epoxy was already stringy and hardened. There was literally no way for me to do this any faster than I did. 8 Minutes would have been more than sufficient to accomplish this repair. Unfortunately, this product hardens in around 2 minutes from the time you mix the 2 part epoxy together. Either I got a defective batch or this product simply doesn't live up to it's claims. Either way, don't waste your money.

Worked on portable rv holding tank
I rubbed a hole in an RV portable holding tank because of a flat tire. Seems to hold fine. No leaks after a few months of hauling gray water. It’s a 45 gallon tank. Just be aware, it sets up fast. Be quick when working with it.

Fixed and sealed cracked washer fluid reservoir (99-04 Ford Mustang)
Used this product on my 1999 3.8L V6 Ford Mustang washer fluid reservoir that was in somewhat rough shape with a long crack. Followed the instructions throughly and managed to seal and fix the crack with the provided contents. Additionally, I did buy extra clear epoxy to create another layer of protection while covering it with Saran Wrap and leaving it to cure overnight which definitely helped. Currently, no leaks!
