Was the perfect solution for a lock on our sliding barn door. Easy to install and sturdy.

Update: Customer service on this product is great. After seeing my review that the lock broke, they reached out to me and sent a replacement. Here’s hoping it will last this time because it’s exactly what we need for our sliding barn door!Original review: The part that the lock pivots on fell off and so it no longer works. We only had it installed a couple of weeks but unfortunately the return window had closed.

Easy to use and very secured.

The media could not be loaded.  I used this on 2 doors in my house on the outside of the door. I was able to do this because of the particular design of the doors... one door is sliding and the other isn't. They work very well and are quite stylish. One very small complaint is I found it only worked smoothly when the latch half was a little higher than the other half. No big deal, though, it still looks good and works great. I got too keep my baby out of the closets and pantry, and to keep her from being able to pull the sliding door off of its rail. Perfect!

The screws broke in half and got stuck in the door. I fiolishytried all of them and now my door is a meas. I advise replacing the screws before installing

We built our own barn-style doors for our small cabin because nothing in it is a standard size. Then we suddenly realized none of the "standard" methods of being able to lock doors would work. These are really flexible in where you can place them and installed very easily. My only suggestion is that if you are going to use them, is to consider their placement carefully. Some of our doorways are so narrow that we bump into the latch as we walk by. However, they work great!

Perfect lock for barn door that we have for guest bathroom.

This was impossible to install so that it would close easily and securely. I gave up, will toss these in metal recycling and get something that will actually work.Don’t use the screws that come with them unless you’re only using a hand screwdriver, or they’ll strip with minimal effort bc they are poor quality.Do not recommend, they are not worth the effort.
