Performs like a cooling fan should, speed adjustable!
These are amazingly powerful fans (and adjustable speed based on voltage). I tried some different fans first, for cooling a server rack, and they simply did not move enough air. These on the other hand, were awesome. They can be very loud at full speed, but I don't know of another fan that moves as much air and is quieter. (In fact, quite a few other fans seem just as loud, and move much less air.)I don't think I'd recommend these for a home PC, unless you're deaf or don't mind sleeping with ear plugs. (I have mine in the garage, so all I can hear inside is a slight hum.) But if you're cooling server racks, these are the way to go.

Just what I needed
I have an old G4 Mac workstation I like to play games on under OS9 and OSX, but it sounded like take off in the Spruce Goose. Took me about 5 minutes to slip this fan in where the old one used to be, including transferring the shiny wire shield from the old one to the new one. Worked flawlessly, and is very quiet. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Replacement for old Mac G4
Almost a drop in replacement for a 2002 Apple Power Mac G4 I am using. Fits perfectly like the original. Just had to swap the metal guard from the old fan. Plug matched up to the existing connector on motherboard but I had to switch the wires to match original. I noticed the wires are not as heavy as the original. The noise level is hard to determine due to other fans and drives in the computer housing but it is a big improvement over the noisy fan it replaced.

Super powerful!
I have an infrared heater that stared to get noisy and died, so naturally I took it apart. My luck, it used a standard 120mm fan, so after one lackluster attempt trying a low noise computer fan, I got this beast. My heater roared to life and quickly started warming my house - I think it even blew some papers off my coffee table. After 2 weeks, the fan is still super powerful and keeping me nice an toasty, but I do have to raise the volume on my TV a a few bars.

One worked, second DOA
High powered and LOUD but moves a lot of air. Used to cool radio here and is louder than truck AC fan! Glad I bought 2 because one was DOA. But the working one was powerful enough I didn't really need two

Moves A Lot of Air!
Very powerful fan and it works great. As expected with high CFM fans it is loud. I used a power supply that also works as a fan speed controller.

Did not work out of the box
Fan had some sort of short and would not turn on. Tried multiple 12V power sources. Stay away!

Moves air
Works well I run it 12+hours a day auto switching on and off as temp rises on an inverter. Good flow
