Necessary Item For Lithium Batteries Used In Boats
I recently bought 3 Relion lithium batteries for my boats. These batteries have 1/2" M8 hex-head bolts as terminals, but the bolts are waay to short for connecting all the various wires needed for boat use. These extension terminals or something like them are absolutely needed for this situation. I replaced the 1/2" bolts with 20mm or 25mm M8 bolts (whichever it takes to properly install the TM25 plates for a tight fit in the existing 1/2"-deep bolt holes). I used 5/16" washers or M8-.125 nuts as spacers to lift the plates up off the battery surface so that the 1/4" bolts in the end of the plates could be installed UPSIDE-DOWN in the plates. With the 1/4" bolts sticking UP, numerous wires with ring terminals can be attached & then held in place with lock nuts for permanent connections to depthfinders, lights, livewells & the coulometer needed to properly measure the remaining charge on these batteries (voltmeters simply DON'T work!). When it comes time to take the batteries inside for the winter, just remove the bolt & hardware holding the TM25 to the battery; all the other wires stay attached to the TM25, making for an easy reconnection next spring. The flat surfaces of the TM25 are a little rough, but a flat file will easily fix that. This review applies to the RB100 * RB100HP batteries that bought for my 18' boat.I bought an RB60 battery for my 12' Porta-Bote, and built a portable power station using a NOCO Group 27 battery box. The terminals on this battery are closer to the edge of the battery, so the existing terminal bolts were used to hold the TM25 plates in place (no longer bolts or spacers needed). The 1/4" bolts face DOWN, and lock nuts are again used to hold all the ring terminals in place. As above, all the connections stay in place if the battery ever needs to be removed; just remove the M8 bolts. When these batteries need charging (use a charger with AGM or Lithium setting - the AGM setting works but is slower according to Relion), just hook up directly the M8 terminal bolts. Be sure all trolling motors are COMPLETELY disconnected; don't just flip the circuit breaker and call it good (per MinnKota). After looking over at least 8 brands of lithium batteries, I didn't find any with lead posts that are standard on the various types of lead/acid batteries. So I think the arrangement described above will be needed on any lithium setup. FYI, a 5/16" bolt will NOT fit an M8 threaded hole. The diameters are ALMOST the same, but the thread pitch is different. I think that lithium batteries are the wave of the future for all serious boaters, so I hope this helps potential buyers.

Size
They are ok, but a little small compared to most others

Four Stars
The pictures are accurate. Diesel truck application. Two stacked terminals on battery side post. My only concern is the mounting surface has not been machined at all. I used a file to flatten one side to provide more surface contact. It appears to be as good or better than other similar products. Time will tell.

They'll work but they're not very pretty.
My best guess is whoever does quality control for the manufacturer had the day off when they made the ones I received. They weren't smooth at all. It was almost like they were speckled with molten brass after they came out of the mold. I spent 20 or 30 minutes with a file and a hand grinder cleaning them up. Now they both looks similar to what others have shown pictures of. They do seem solid so I'm hopeful that they last. If not I'll be sure to come back and update my review. If I had more time I would have probably tried to exchange them instead of cleaning them up myself but I don't and that's why I'm only giving these three stars.

Amazing conductivity compared to ZINC!!!
Awesome terminals! No complaints and they DO hold (2) 0 guage battery cables (Diesel and Inverter application)!

Perfect
Perfect for gm/ side mount batteries upgrading my alternator and charging wires and needed new posts. Not sure if they would actually fit 2 size 0 wires but they can definitely hold one size zero and still have room for additional smaller wires.

Great battery cable connectors.
Well made and help tremendously when connecting to batteries together quickly. I have terminals on the main battery that have wing nut connectors to which I connect these cable ends to.

They are brass
Very well made, better than the lead ones you get from the store!!!
