Inton 70 Sets - 15mm 5/8 Metal Snap Fastener Leather Rapid Rivet Button Sewing (Gun Black (15mm, Nickel)

Most of my snap heads have bent before there is enough pressure to attach them and become useless. I cannot find a tool that will get these to attach instead of just having them compress and not work.

I tried to set 5... all broke.. the only one that set correctly broke when i snap them together... i'm installing snaps since 10 years so i know how. this is as fragile as paper! and no return possible!!!

The actual snap fastener where fine, no problem, but the included tools to put them together required more skill than I have. It's very difficult to hold the punch and hammer and keep the fastener pieces aligned on the anvil, while striking the punch tool. I found the two parts of the fastener more than likely will be askew and not fitting together to snap shut, when done.But I found using my pop rivet tool, with a small nail (6 penny?), works like a charm. Feed the nail thru the base, the fabric, and the Snap part, then squeezing the tool slowly, and just require one hand, while making sure all the parts are aligned, that squeeze until the parts are firmly riveted together. Make sure that the head of the nail used, will not distort the snap as it crushes the rivet. This wont work for the flat button cover, unless you drill a 9/64" hole, down thru the rivet and the shiny domed head, to put the nail thru every thing.

I wasn't sure how well this product would work since reading some of the negative reviews make me a bit hesitant. Fortunately, this product works great and it's easy to use. I used this product to put buttons for my back pant pockets that my wallet keeps slipping out. If you are not sure how to use it, watch some videos on YouTube.

They work pretty well. It's better than expected for the price. The hole punch is completely worthless however, I use a belt hole punch. If you reply the whole punch in the kit, you will hate this kit.
