VERY happy with this purchase. I'll be honest I was a tad bit hesitant about the quality of the product after reading the negative reviews but for $10 I took the chance, but I did also spend a bit more to buy a Prism Bora 2 at the same time to ensure my next kite outing would go well. I received the kite on Wednesday unpacked it and I will admit, the quality of the ripstop nylon isn't the best I've seen but it's a $10 good size kite what do you expect? The Kite came RTF (Ready to Fly) which is always nice, not a super long line but good enough. The instruction are pretty much worthless.. I do agree, but for the most part you don't need much instruction for flying this thing. The only advice I could give some one who is a complete newbie is to ensure the bridle (the string that is pre-tied to the kite) isn't knotted except for one knot at the end keeping all the strings together. My kite came with loose knots in the bridle line I'm assuming to make folding and packing the kite easier at the factory. Reading a number of the bad review I think this may have been something that others didn't do. I took this kite out for it's maiden voyage today (Sunday). We had about 10mph winds and I was in a fairly clear field, a favorite for many, for kite flying in my area. I unpacked the kite , let about about 50ft of line, had my 4 year old hold the kite while I walked the line out... counted to 3, gave it a little tug and straight up it went. It flew wonderfully, looked great, and my boys loved it. Couldn't be more pleased with this purchase. BTW for anyone who has read the bad reviews and may not be that familiar with kite flying, please don't listen to the folks who say "this kite needs some solid structure". These people don't know what they are talking about. The kite is a soft parafoil kite (similar concept to a parachute), these kites get their structure from the wind which essentially inflates the kite and gives it it's shape. In my experience these are some of the most stable, reliable, and easy to fly kites out there.

We've owned these since 2020. They've been on multiple beach tips and have held up to some of the strongest winds I'd ever imagine them to. Kids enjoy them (im a big kid so I enjoy them too). We purchased some 1000ft reels for them and let them fly high for hours (attatch the reel to the top of our cooler or pop up shade tent)

Easy to set up and easy to fly

The kites themselves are great, you get 3 big kites for a good price and each comes with a cheap thing of string. These are nylon "pocket style" kites which do not require any kite sticks, so they are great for travel and young kids, and they always fly even in the slightest wind. However, what would really complete this deal would be if they included higher quality string and clips for the strings. Each kite has it's own nylon bag, when you pull the kite out of it's bag, there is a mess of strings which can easily tangle. So if you have little kids you may want to get the strings organised and tied correctly for them. Since there are no clips included, you will have to tie a knot to connect the strings. I suggest ordering high a quality spool of kite string that comes with a clip so you can easily attach all the strings. Happy kite flying!!

I bought these to fly with a 5 year old's birthday and we had no problems getting them off the ground and he ran around the park with the string all the way out just having a great time. We flew all 3 at once and they looked fantastic, got comments by passersby about how cool they are. Three kites, different and vivid colors, each with their own bag and one larger bag that holds all three. When it was time to pack up, I just wound the string back onto the handle, folded the sides of the kite into the middle, rolled it up, and stuffed it back into the bag, then put each of the bags into the bigger bag. It would easily fit in a backpack with plenty of room for other supplies for a day in the park. Would totally recommend these. No sticks to break, they just inflate with the breeze.

We got a 2 pack for cheap and took these out in very high wind for the first time. Not having spars in them makes them very suitable for taking to a very windy place like the beach or very windy day because there is nothing that can break. This did great in the high wind staying stable as well. The main issue we had was with the strings that are tethered from the fabric to the main line. They can get tangled and there isn't any sort of loop to attach to the main line to so you have to make the loop yourself. If you don't do it carefully, it will be out of balance and that causes the kite to fly erratically and either spiral out of control or nose dive. One of the kites got tangled up this way and it was hard to get untangled. Now it needs the strings to be cut, untangled and retied, which isn't that hard but unfortunately it made it so we only had 1 kite to fly for the day. Fortunately it isn't going to be that hard to fix and now we know to take special car to make sure all the tethering strings are equal lengths and not get tangled before letting it ride. For the price paid for 2, it is a way better deal than the expensive kites we have bought elsewhere that break after one use in high wind.

My daughter got these kites for her birthday and we loved them so much we bought them for a friend's birthday. You get two kites with individual bags, and a larger bag to fit both kites. I can repeatedly fit the kite back in the bag. Which never happens but these bags are the right size and work really well. Now the kite itself is amazing. It is extremely EASY to fly. Forget all the expensive bird kites that don't fly well at all and are super frustrating and get thrown away. Get these. They are easy to get up in the air and easy to fly and control. My newly 6 year old can do all of it totally by herself. Plus the colors are vivid and look great soaring through the air. I'd pay this price, or more, for one of these kites. Getting two amazing kites is a steal. Highly recommend!

When I opened this after receiving it in the mail, the strings were all knotted up. It was very difficult and time consuming to untangle. There has to be a way to keep this from happening. After figuring it out, we took it out the next windy day and it flew pretty well. String is very very long. So are the octopuses legs. We cut ours to be shorter.

Super easy to fly this kite in lighter winds. You don't have to run around a field to keep it in the air. Looks awesome too. Toddler loved it.

Used this kite at the Columbia icefields the squid did look like an alien
