These are saviors! Seriously, it fixed so much damage where my new backsplash was going. Love love love it

Love this patch kit! I used USG Sheetrock Brand4.5 gal. Plus 3 Ready-Mixed Joint Compound to make several thin layers, sanding between each one. You can’t even tell where the hole was!The reason for the hole was because I purchased a home where the toilet paper holder and towel rack were CEMENTED INTO THE WALL. LolAlso, the joint compound plastic putty (red things) are great. I’ve used them on the enter wall not just the parts that needed fixing. Absolutely work $20 to patch your walls!

I was able to patch several different size holes in my walls very easily. It takes awhile to dry completely but it’s worth the wait. Afterwards, all I had to do was sand, add texture and paint. It took two afternoons to complete.

on the 1st square that I used to adhesive wasn’t as sticky as the others, but other than that this product is amazing if that adhesive was more sticky would’ve been at 5/5 I would recommend

No knowledge on how to do this at all. The product was super easy to read and use

They do what they are supposed to do. The adhesion isn’t great, but I’m yet to find one that has good adhesion. That said, the spackle does most of the adhesion…so not a big deal. It comes with multiple sizes for different sized “small” repairs. The metal screen does make for a stronger repair, but at the same time, you have to build up the spackle all around it to prevent an obvious “bulge” in the wall. I personally prefer just the regular fiberglass tape, as it can be sanded to almost smooth. This, however, can only be sanded so far before you start to expose the metal screen. So if you sand down to the screen, you will have to re-spackle a thin coat over the top of it. And since this is sitting slightly about the wall surface, you either end up with an obvious bulge, or you have to build up the spackle quite a bit away from the patch.So, they get the job done, but I personally am not a fan of the metal screen. Unless I need a particularly strong fix. Otherwise, I think the plane fiberglass tape is far superior.
