If you use it, then you'll have to stuff the binocular strap into the pouch, and there isn't much room for that. Use only the binocular strap and it works well, just like the original Nikon strapless pouch. Quality looks ok, nothing obviously wrong. Fits Nikon good
I needed this for my Nikon Monarch 5, 8x42. The fit is good, similar to the original. This pouch comes with a removable strap, but it's not needed. If you use it, then you'll have to stuff the binocular strap into the pouch, and there isn't much room for that. Use only the binocular strap and it works well, just like the original Nikon strapless pouch. Quality looks ok, nothing obviously wrong. Velcro latches good, stitching looks good, and material looks good. I'm optimistic.
