HyperX Alloy Origins PBT - Mechanical Gaming Keyboard, Keycaps, RGB Lighting, Compact, Aluminum Body, Adjustable Feet, Customizable with NGENUITY, Onboard Memory Clicky Switch, Black

I've used this for over a year now and it's great - no issues

Very very very nice keyboard. I got blue switches, I like it. Good clicks and nice assembly.

Keyboard is very solid, nice metal frame. Two levels of adjustable frames. Nice sound, not super loud or anything. Found the switchs to be slightly stiffer then cherry MX browns. The keycaps here are PBT plastic, which is thicker and has a nice texture, very good value for those.

The keyboard is heavy and feels tough and letter do not fade. I use this keyboard everyday for constant gaming and it has definitely held up. I'm only upset that there's a known issue where some keys will stop working properly no matter how well you take care of the keyboard. An example for me is my S key. I will have to double tap it or long press for it to work and other times it will work perfectly fine or not at all. There's no solution to this unless you are willing to replace the switch which requires a soldering iron. I've had this for a year and a half and already have to find a new keyboard because of this ONE KEY that doesn't work properly. As much as I loved this keyboard I don't plan on getting this one again.

Absolutely amazing quality keyboard for the price. I highly recommend it. I personally love the blue switches for that tactile clicky feel. It reminds me almost of a typewriter in sound and overall as someone who types a lot I love to use it. I wouldn’t recommend the blue switch in an office but at home if you’re alone this is a great keyboard! A great purchase and I highly recommend this to anyone. The rgb is nice and the keys are all customizable too.

I got this as a gift to my husband. He loved it. He works most of the time on computer and this keyboard is best as it gives good support. Ofcourse lil bit noisy just like other mechanical keyboards :)

This is the perfect keyboard. Excellent tactile response. Beautiful RGB. You can color every single key. Seriously? Every single key. And the response is great. The feel is amazing. Excellent mechanical keys. Nice footprint, too. Just the right size. If I had four hands I'd buy another.

I'm pleasantly surprised by the look, feel, and price of this keyboard. With the decline of Ducky keyboard quality and availability, this was a welcome replacement for my new build.

This is an excellent keyboard at a very good price. Arrived in good time and was carefully packed. Only problem is my delivery address leaves my house number off and I seem unable to change it on Amazon.

I've had this excellent keyboard for almost a year, and thought that it deserved a review. The time I've spent with it has told me that the HyperX Alloy Origins RGB Mechanical Gaming Keyboard is a fantastic choice for gamers and professionals alike, with a well-rounded combination of style, functionality, and durability. Build Quality and Design The keyboard boasts an aircraft-grade aluminum body, which not only ensures its durability but also gives it a sleek and premium look. Its compact design is space-saving without compromising on features, and the RGB lighting adds a touch of flair to my setup. The customizable lighting effects are vibrant and easily managed through the HyperX Ngenuity application, which also allows seamless control of my HyperX mouse, making it an all-in-one solution for peripheral management. Performance and Typing Experience Equipped with Blue Axis mechanical switches, this keyboard delivers a satisfying tactile feedback with an audible click—perfect for users who enjoy a responsive typing experience. Typing feels natural and effortless, making it ideal for gaming (which I admit I don't do much of) and extended periods of work. The inclusion of ABS key-caps ensures durability while maintaining a comfortable feel. The full-sized layout with a 10-key numeric keypad is a valuable addition, particularly for me since I work with numbers a lot. Customization and Software The (free) HyperX Ngenuity software stands out as a key highlight, providing intuitive controls for customizing RGB lighting, creating macros, and configuring profiles. The software's straightforward interface ensures that pretty much anyone can fine-tune their keyboard to suit their preferences. Pros: Sturdy aluminum construction. Clicky and tactile Blue Axis switches for a satisfying typing experience. Customizable and vibrant RGB lighting. Intuitive Ngenuity software for managing peripherals. Full-sized layout with 10-key functionality. Cons: The Blue switches may be too loud for some environments, especially shared workspaces. ABS keycaps, while durable, might wear over time compared to PBT options. It's a little smaller than other 10-keyboards I've tried, and that's taken a while for me to get used to - and it's why I'm taking away one star. Final Verdict The HyperX Alloy Origins RGB Mechanical Gaming Keyboard excels in delivering a premium experience for both gaming (not from personal experience) and productivity tasks. Its robust build, satisfying Blue switches, and versatile customization options make it an excellent investment. If you value tactile feedback and the convenience of a full-sized layout, this keyboard will undoubtedly elevate your setup.

Got it on sale for a great price. My old razer black widow started having issues with keys not pressing and double pressing after a year and this has been way better for a fraction of the price. No complaints
