The media could not be loaded. Everything said about this product is true but most importantly I want to mention something I don't recall seeing in the reviews. The inside of this "canoe" shaped file has a tiny groove and it's everything I have been looking for in a nail file. My nails are very thin naturally and my skin is like tissue paper. Just trying to use a thin emery board would burn my pinky because I have to keep my nails fairly short or I will chew them off and that never ends well. Like I said, look no further, only buy this one. Now I need to get a bunch so I have one everywhere!

This is the best purchase ever (and in nearly 70 years, I’ve purchased a lot)! Game changer for filing toenails. Mine have never looked and felt better. So easy to reach the tricky angles of toenails ♥️ Fingernails are effortlessly filed into a beautiful shape with NO rough edges or snags. I am thrilled with this purchase. No going back to regular files and mani/pedi implements now.

I love glass files - the problem I have though, is they’re mostly too thick to comfortably fit under the side edge of my nails. This file has a thinner edge ridge that seems designed specifically for that purpose. The “getting used to” is in aligning that textured surface to the nail edge that needs filing. I’m sure I’ll adjust to it, given a bit of time.I receive no incentives or compensation for my reviews. I always withhold the 4th “star” til after I’ve used an item for awhile - in case an issue arises. So, for me, a 4 star rating is only “saying” that it’s longevity / durability hasn’t proven itself yet.

I had and liked my glass nail file. It broke, and I waited years to buy another. Since I indulged in this moon file I've begun giving it on occasions such as birthdays that end with zeroes. I can't decide whether I love this Germanicure file more for how it fits in my hand and curves with my nails, or because of the smooth finish it provides. Or, is it the handsome, protective leather case? Cleaning or disinfecting is no problem, even in your dishwasher. If my home burns to the ground or my manicure tool is stolen, this heavy glass moon file WILL be replaced. It's worth every penny.

This really smooths out nails, no rough edges. It is aggressive so be careful not to take your mail down to the quick. It is glass so I wash my hands afterwards. Worried about tiny splinters

I’ve had other nail files where you use the edge to file, and they’ve worked great! I was looking for a new one, and this looked really nice, so I decided to try it. Unfortunately, the grit of the filing edge is bigger or tougher, and my nails weren’t able to be filed smooth. They just kept getting snagged.

This file is amazing. Not only is it very gentle on your nails, but it makes shaping them so easy. I love it.
