Exfoliating Charcoal Scrub for Body with Collagen & Stem Cells, 12 oz by M3

This charcoal body scrub is the best scrub that I’ve ever used honestly hands-down. I use it about 2 to 3 times a week. It is never caused me to have any reactions and it’s so easy to scan very well. I’m not a scientist so I can’t tell you about collagen and stem cells, but, after I use the product, my skin is very smooth and hydrated every time

This product is a great face exfoliator. I recommend only using it once or twice a week since it is rough on the face, but it provides a deep clean that leave my face smooth, it reduced black heads and made my face brighter after a week or two of use, and it comes with a good amount for the price. Wash your face, apply this exfoliator (1-2 per week), then put moisturizer on and you're all set. Keep in mind that the scrub is on the rougher side, so be wary if you have sensitive skin. My face did burn a little during the first use and was red for a few minutes after, but it was fine for every use after. 9/10 🙌

So I was a bit skeptical about this stuff at first. Overall I really like it and the only con may not apply to others, but it still bears mentioning and knocks a star off for me. Cons -Maybe it's my skin type or something, but whenever this stuff gets on the back of either hands (and if you use it while showering like I do, it will get all over your hands) it causes an irritating/stinging sensation. Kind of like a light rash. It's bearable now, but when I first used it, I got a bit worried it wouldn't go away (It goes away in a couple a minutes after you wash it off thankfully). This happens sporadically now, but during the first couple of weeks it happened every time. I'm guessing it's the salt in it (it has dead sea salt) as some parts of my skin hates salt water with a passion. The back of my hands get dry easily, so again that may have something to do with it (shrugs). Luckily, it doesn't do it to my face (what I use it for exclusively) but your mileage may vary. Pros -It really does a great job reducing the amount of black heads, especially on my nose. I noticed a difference right away and it reduced them overall. (Primary reason for buying it) -I also like using it as a sort of pre-shave, to clean the oil and dirt around my facial hair, leaveing it soft and more exposed. I get a cleaner shave when I use this. (Secondary reason for buying) -Once I scrub and rinse off, it leaves my facial skin feeling oddly moisturized but not oily or anything (which I find odd, since it has salt) but it really does. I didn't buy it for this, but it's an unforeseen plus for sure. Neutral -Some of the other reviewers don't like the way it smells. I'm in indifferent to it, but it does smell more like a men's product which suits me just fine, since I'm a guy, but I can see why it might turn off ladies as they usually don't like smelling like dove men's charcoal body wash (what it kind of smells like, it's kind of plastic like) Overall I like it and recommend it. Hopefully the formula only gets better or stays the same, along with the price point. I will continue to buy it, if that is the case.

Totally impressed with the Premium Activated Charcoal Scrub. The first night I received it, I looked at the ingredients and was impressed off the bat! The smell alone was absolutely invigorating. Now, I will admit that smelling it out the jar was not pleasant but it didn't have perfumes etc in it. Once you get it on and scrub the smell was great imo. It is messy so the shower is the place to use it. Proudly made in the USA is fantastic, too! First of all, a little goes a long way. By the third circular scrub I noticed I was using a different product. Okay, so after the first use I immediately noticed my pores were CLEAN!! I did not even have to follow up with a moisturizer because my skin was silky smooth and totally hydrated so I skipped my normal serum after cleansing routine. By the third night my pores were unnoticeable and even my fine lines were, too! Now, I am not sure if fines lines are covered in this products advertising but it should be! On the third night I followed up with my nightly serum ritual and to my surprise it actually helped my skin absorb my nightly serum better than my normal scrub. I now use it in the morning too because of the awesome benefits I noticed from using it at night. I will be using this as an all over body scrub because....why not?? I mean, did you see my description of how in love I am with my facial results? Maybe I will find a way to edit and add my thoughts on the body use because I am positive the results will blow me away as well. Oh yeah that GLOW is amazing!!

So far the product is really holding up well. it definitely does not irritate my skin as I have very sensitive skin. My chest has a lot of box from using a razor to shave and a lot of hairs they were in growing we’re stuck under my skin this gentle exfoliating scrub really helps to remove all the dead skin cells that were on those bumps and I’ve already noticed the hair is coming through the pores again and my skin is starting to clear up. It leaves the skin incredibly soft and smooth and my face is even more sensitive and I’m able to use the face scrub on my face which does not break me out. I would definitely recommend this product.

This a great, natural body scrub for men. It does a good job exfoliating dead and dry skin, helping to eliminate bumps on the back of my arms and shoulders. My skin always has a lasting smoothness after using the scrub; I only need to use it once or twice a week (and even that may be overkill). The scent is pretty basic, but pleasant: smells slightly citrusy, like lime; the charcoal also comes through. It’s not a very strong scent, which I appreciate. My two complaints pertain to the packaging. First, this body scrub was already expensive compared to others, and then it came half empty! Pictured is an unopened jar, and it’s literally only ~60% full. That’s atrocious, and makes me feel like I overspent. Secondly, the aluminum/paper cover that seals the product had no pull tab and no edges from which to open the product; I had to stab scissors into the middle and peel the aluminum from the middle. Would it really gash the profit margin to include a little extra material for a pull tab?? Come on.

I've been using Clinique for years. I don't use scrubs often, so I usually opt for the popular drug store brands. I had a few coupons and decided to pick this scrub up to go with my Clinique regimen.I have been having allergy issues affecting my skin and causing dry spots. I also have very sensitive skin. I spot treated those areas for a few days hoping to slough off the dead skin and the drug store brand couldn't do it. Left my skin looking dryer & peeling more. I got this in this week and tried it. My face was so smooth and the dry patches were gone. I couldn't believe it since this scrub is smoother & not as abrasive as the other. I must admit I read nothing about the cooling- menthol-ly feeling and it was a shock. It wasn't bad, just mild tingle. I would compare to the famous blue cold cleaning cream. My face was my brighter, too. I would only use this once a week as I think it would be too much for daily. Clinique has a 7 day scrub that is milder if you are looking to scrub your face daily. I have only one down fall. My particular tube seemed to be dried at the top when I first opened it. I literally had to use all of my weight on top of the tube against my bathroom counter to get it out.. And, it flew every where. So I wasted a lot. The fortunate thing is that this is a super thick scrub and a little goes a long way.

Definitely feel a difference since using this along with my face brush. Skin feels and looks healthier as it soaks in and removes dead skin and darker pigmentations

Really nice but I don’t like the fact that it falls apart so quickly as I apply it. Other than that, it is truly cleansing
