MizunoWomen's Wave Sky 5 Running Shoe

I wear an 8.5 in every other top brand running shoe but this is definitely at least 1/2 size too small. Otherwise, it seemed like good cushion and stability.

Sturdy and supportive with great arch support.

My goodness these shoes are awesome. The perfect amount of cushion and support. For reference - I run on a treadmill, don't have any foot/arch issues and am a mid-foot striker, BUT if my shoes aren't right, my knees let me know it.

I bought 2 pairs of these and with both pairs, the soles have both lost their spring after running 5-6 times on pavement. Very disappointing.

I have narrow feet and have always had a terrible time finding supportive athletic shoes. They've always been too wide to tighten snugly, leaving room for my foot to move from side to side. Due to a foot injury years ago, I'm an under-pronator (walk on the outer side of the foot). Over the years, this has begun to have a negative impact on my balance and agility and has weakened the tendons in my ankle. I finally went to a runner's store and had a professional shoe fitting. After two months of wearing the Mizunos I bought in the store, I've noticed that the snugness of the toe box holds my foot firmly in place and the under pronation is correcting itself. I'm so happy with my Mizunos, I decided I needed a second pair which I ordered from Amazon for a much better price.
