I'm not a floor person but I saw this and knew I could put it on top of a trunk I have. Then I retain the storage in that corner while also having a comfy seat! And yes it is comfy. When fully flattened, it covers the entire trunk, for more of a cushioned bench feel -- which is also great. Living in a small house, you gotta find furniture that doubles as storage, and this on top of a nice sturdy trunk fits the bill, while looking cozy and mostly classic.

Could be used as a temporary small bed for a day

Wow is this chair a huge hit in our house. I just got it because we needed some extra seating when we have all the kids around and people are playing games. I didn't realize that everybody would start fighting over this as the best seat in the house. Not only is it really plush uncomfortable but it's generously sized as well. You can easily fit a full size adult in this chair comfortably. I also wasn't sure how stable it would be in terms of the back stain put but it really is sturdy and stays where you put it. You can adjust the incline very easily and there's a clicking sound so you can hear what it locks into place. And then to lay it flat again you just fold it all the way in half and then back. Couldn't be easier and I love that I can tuck this in a closet or even just shove it under the couch when we're not using it.
