A WONDERFUL BOOK TO READ FOR
As the world waits for a vaccine to defeat the COVID-19 pandemic, we look back to all that vaccines have achieved for humanity through this lovely book. Some of the instances in the book such as use of Orphans and Prisoners as Guinea pigs and human to human chain to transfer the vaccine from one country to another are the beautiful and fantastic information which made me fully engrossed to the book.Chapters four and five are, to me, the core of this book and obligatory reading. I found them extremely useful and an eye opener.I am 100% sure that this book will be one of the best reading of its kind in the near future. This book is not just a simple novel about the development of Vaccines and vaccinations but it also tells you about the dynamics of Socio-Economic and Political aspects of the whole world through vaccine development, which I loved so much. I must say this book should be read by every Indian to know about India and the world's marvellous journey of Vaccines development.

Excellent book. Must read. Roots of the today's vaccination program & how it all started.
I rarely read books, but my friend highly recommended this and I started reading it and now after reading the book I genuinely want to congratulate the author Dr. Sajjan Singh Yadav for this fabulous piece of work. It's a masterpiece sir, hats off to you. This book covers all the important aspects in a interesting way: It includes the science behind the vaccines, devastation created by various pandemics & how the vaccines emerged & evolved over a time from the smallpox vaccine in late 18th century to the current covid vaccine. It covers the whole process of vaccine evolution & the challenges faced in production, transportation & preservation. It also gives some proud moments, as it describes about how India became world's vaccine pharmacy, & also shares about India's health diplomacy.I am a UPSC aspirant, and I can only say that it's an excellent book to invest your time and money.

Masterpiece
The media could not be loaded. Really an awesome work by this author. Lots of appreciation to him. This book is a perfect example of how a research should be. The way he articulates the technical content into pan-reader mode is astonishing.Pros:1. Even a layman can understand this biotechnology and vaccinology terms.2. Excellent research in every chapter.3. Font is soothing.Cons:1. Could have explained about AMR threat occuring due to over vaccination.2. It would be excellent if any vaccine institute or organisation working mechanism is included.Overall: Through this book, you cherish the unsung victory we achieved against covid 19 and proudly torch INDIA-Vaccine SUPERPOWER. It should be a reference book for immunology or microbiology related subjects.

India's Vaccine Growth Story A must read for Scientist ,Policy makers and science communicator
I find “India’s vaccine story” A biography of vaccines, most fascinating after another similar general non-fiction “The “Emperor of all remedies “. I enjoyed reading this outstanding book. Which is a collection of the rarest to latest scientific references. I liked the brave story of scientists testing the vaccine on themselves and the first vaccine produced by a three-year-old girl Anna Dusthall. Also, glycerol was discovered in 1895. The related controversial aspect of the Integrated Vaccine complex in Chengalpattu and CDSCO suspension of three licenses. Interesting story of racecourse breeding farm in Hadapsar and birth of SII. New concepts like “zero dose children” “patient zero” “rolling reviews “Insurance offspring” and “infodemic”.The story is chronicled in a way that the reader cannot stop in between. As it has vaccine science to political science (Vaccine Diplomacy). History to present day evolved science. So also, Economics to growth.

No one can Read Just One (Chapter) :)
Similar to the famous Lays chips ad (No one can eat just one), this book is also un-stoppable.Don't start reading this book if you don't have enough time to finish it at one go. It is an engrossing read and full of fun facts, presented in a lucid manner. Once you start reading this book, it is difficult to put it down. The book is informative and covers the history of vaccination. It also explains the development of recent vaccines for COVID and immense contribution of India and her scientific community and political leadership in fighting the recent COVID pandemic. The author with his insights into the working of the government machinery explains the efforts and initiatives taken by the Indian Government in helping not only her own citizens but humanity all over the world. A true example of 'Vasudhaiv Kutumbakam'.I would strongly recommend this book for those who are interested in the science of vaccine development and logistics of implementation of the vaccination programs.
