My favorite backpack to date 📅
As the title suggests, the osprey tropos is my favorite backpack I’ve ever used. I’ll admit, the backpack itself doesn’t look all that great but it has so much good features. The backpack features a suspended mesh back panel which allows airflow to prevent your back from getting sweaty. It also features a built in “kickstand” which is just a more rigid bottom panel which helps the backpack stand up straight (I hate backpacks that just flop down). The tropos also features load adjusters, a waist belt, and a sternum strap which I find helpful for taking most of the weight off your shoulders and onto your hips which could be particularly helpful for college students who carry heavy loads. The main pocket is big and the laptop pocket has enough space for both my 17 inch MacBook Pro and 12.9 inch iPad Pro.

Osprey stands alone
I think Osprey is head and shoulders above the competition when it comes to crafting packs. They are competing with themselves at this point. I love the material, the design, even the style. I have had two Osprey packs in my life, a 55L backpacker, and a daily driver school style backpack with laptop sleeve. I had an accident where an entire bottle of CBD oil spilled in my osprey school backpack. (Sure it may sounds cliche, but YES it realy freakin' happened.) I stopped using it after that. I switched to a NF bag for 5 years and so missed the features of Osprey. I finally pulled the trigger on the Tropos 32L and its like getting back together with your long lost love. Everything is how I remember it from before and I regret waiting years to make the switch back. The skeletal frame that keeps the weight directly off your shoulders and back and keeps you form becoming sweaty, as well as providing a kickstand so you can easily set the bag down and have it rest vertically is not something you'll want to give up either.

Best tech bag I've ever owned
I have gone through about 50 backpacks trying to find just the right one for my job. I carry a laptop and a bunch of tech gear, and I need a bag to be self-standing, have two external water bottle pockets, decent organization, and be comfortable with a lot of weight and while being worn for extended periods. This is absolutely the best one I have used yet. It is perfect for my needs. The harness is amazing, and is so comfortable I almost forget I'm wearing it. Especially with the raised mesh airscape back that allows so much more airflow than other designs. The laptop sleeve is perfect for me since I can carry both my laptop and my second screen, both in padded, suspended compartments. The water bottle pockets expand to hold my 40 ounce hydroflask and my insulated lunch bottle, and the stretch mesh compartment on the front is perfect for stashing a coat or other stuff I pick up while on site.I have always been a huge fan of Osprey packs, and this is yet another example of how good they are. I'm so happy with this pack that I think my search is finally over.

Great purchase.
Love this bag. Great laptop compartment with elevated support so it doesn't touch the ground. The kickstand to stand it upright on the ground is awesome. Comfortable, breathable. Nice for airport travel when I have a bunch of stuff to carry including 3 days worth of clothes. I've had for a few months now and there's barely sign of wear and tear.Cons: the compression straps at the top sit over the zippers, making unzipping the main compartments a little awkward sometimes. The compression straps on the lower sides sit right on top of the side pockets, which can get in the way of putting something in. Finally, there could be more dividers in the organizer compartment. The elastic pockets are nice but I would have preferred a mesh zipper pocket. All in all, very happy with my purchase. I went to REI to scout out some other options like the Nebula and I went ahead and opted for the slightly larger Tropos that had the kickstand feature and cooling features.

Great college backpack
Not cheap, but perfect back pack for my college student. He loves that it stands up when he puts it down for easy access to books and supplies.
