DXZtoz Two-Way Articulating Borescope with Light, 1080P Industrial Endoscope Inspection Camera with Flexible Articulated Probe for Automotive Engine Mechanic HVAC- 5.5FT

I needed a way to look into some spots without tearing things apart and after some research, this unit came up as one of the best for the price. On sale for Prime Days, so in went the order. It actually arrived same day so that was nice. My last one was 20+' long, 5 feet seems like a better choice for the cable length and it had the usual accessories like a hook, magnet and 90 degree mirror. The unit is easy to use and worked great! The articulating head made it easy to have a look when it wasn't straight in front of me and I was able to get everything done quickly. Clear picture, good focus range and a nice clear screen made it worth the spend. There's only a couple of things I'd suggest: One, some indication of how off center (L/R) the camera is to make things easy to track and two a "centered-up" indication so I know if left really is left or am I upside down. Otherwise, great unit!

Used the bore scope to help with a repair of a rear liftgate on an SUV. Looked inside the hatch and discovered a loose plastic clip that was rattling, managed to reattach the clip because the pictures I took with the borescope showed how it came off, and where the clip was supposed to go. Pictures I attached show the INSIDE of the rear hatch of my SUV. They show behind the high center brake light LED assembly. First use and it paid for itself. Image is quite good, the articulating tip is very good too. It may be difficult tor turn the camera tip in very tight places but that's a compromise. The fiber scope is rigid, but bendable. It is not easy or sometimes impossible to rotate inside a cavity when the shaft has a band in it. This is when video or pictures are helpful. Then the pictures can be viewed on a computer and flipped in software. There were no instructions for removing the screw on tip and connecting the hook, magnet, or 90 degree angle viewer attachment. The standard ring unscrews from the tip, it wasn't easy to get off the first time. The case is great. Easy to put the bore scope back into it.

I have had 2 scopes in the past but this one is clearly way way better . The first thing I checked was the view it had before actually inserting it an a small opening . I was happy to find that is has a picture much like a camera , that is a wider view in that use . I find that can be very helpful if you have to first sort of finf your way and the actual entrance you want the probe to enter and see inside of .A good example woiuld be a project I am workinh on on my car . I am tryingto find an evaporator emmission leak . so I am laying under the rear of the car but I have to try to see over a crossmember of the frame and up around the gas tank where there are several com[ponents I have to try to look at to try to find what might be leaking vacuum . The camera is very helpful for this task . The resolution is great ,also the several available lighting levels, and the zoom options . Really great . The articulation of the head of the camera is probably the best feature of all . I used to think that a sort of fixed "fish eye " view by the camera lense was adequate . But I have found that the ability to aim the lense more specifically at different spots is a huge improvement . I am a professional handyman for a living . Sometimes I have to try to see inside drain lines looking for blockages or inside walls to help fish wires , as a couple of examples . I also work on my own vehicles . This scope is very helpful to see down deeper in the engine bay because cars are just a maze of hoses ,wires etc . I have also used it to get a good look inside a catalytic converter to see if the insides were in good shape . In summary this a very well performing camera which has very many uses that come up all the time if you are a guy who likes to work on a variety of projects .It makes things much easier and quicker to get completed . Money very well spent !

Works great, and it's nice to have on hand. Clear picture, snakes around nicely. I bought this when we were building out house and having leaking issues, which we thought was due to faulty zip tape / and or mortar behind the stone that should not have been there. I was able to snake behind the stone through the gaps to show our builder just how much mortar was filling the space that should have been open to allow water to pass though (proved a code violation)- and thus started the 1.5 year journey to remove all the stone on our brand new house and have it done correctly. I also used it to tell if any armadillos were in their dens before filling them with dirt.

Works fantastic and the videos are clear on the screen. It helped me see inside the wall to make sure I wasn't hitting anything important. What I did notice is that its annoying that eventhough it has the adjustments to look left and right with the controller it would be nice if it could also look up and down. I had to take out and adjust the camera to look inside the walls. Yes you can invert the camera but it's not the same. It's not a bad buy just it can be better or maybe im picky. The lighting is good and feel like it's a sturdy camera. It does give you the option to save your video on a Sim card and the cable to the camera seems of good quality as well. When I used it, it was plug and play easy to use nothing hard about it. Compared to what I had purchased before as a borescope, this is 10x better and recommended it.

I used the item twice and it worked great. Then all of a sudden it wouldn’t give me a picture and stated no signal. I reached out to customer support and she was amazing. Layla the rep walked me through troubleshooting steps and when that didn’t work she mailed me a new unit to replace the damaged one. She is the true meaning of customer service and she is the reason why I gave this a five star rating. Overall I am completely satisfied with the product and customer service.

Purchased this product for myself and a cousin based on an evaluation on the YouTube channel "Project Farm." It's VERY easy to set-up and to use. The multiple settings for the LED lighting works well. The articulating tip is a great feature and makes "exploring" in tight space easy.

My husband love this! He says it comes in handy for about any job that he is working on, from working on vehicles, to the HVAC. Works well!

Camera works really well, takes good pictures and I think even video. Camera manipulates easily, i'm sure it wouldn't take a lot of abuse but I'm very happy with this purchase.

Very good borescope. Adjustable camera head makes a big difference. For the price it's a 5 stars from me.

J'adore vraiment ce produit, fait très bien pour mon motorisé et endroit restreint. Sauf que j'aurais besoin des fois d'une main de plus pour manipuler le câble dans les endroits restreint.
