It doesn't weigh much, makes it portable and functional. Also has 2 buttons, a power button and volume control. Overall, very happy with this purchase!

I treated myself on Prime Day because I needed a new way to unwind. I've tried teaching myself piano on and off for the last few years and never really stuck with it, so this time I made it as easy as possible for myself. NOTE: I added stickers to the keys, those are not included with this. (But I do highly recommend them, they make it a lot easier.) PROS: Right off the bat, the fun colors. I love mint green and never thought I'd find a keyboard close to that color. It looks great, but it's not too much. Next is the light up keys. They are my favorite feature and they are bright enough to see clearly even on the black keys. You just download the app on your phone/tablet, and you can find songs to start playing right away. You connect the keyboard via bluetooth, it's very easy and straightforward process. Also the keys are semi-weighted so if you hit them harder they will be louder, but it's not super sensitive to it. You can plug the keyboard in or use batteries and it's very light so it's very portable. The app has a fair amount of free songs from classics Beethoven to modern day stuff like Maroon 5. They even have a free song from Minecraft. They also have paid songs from 99 cents up to about 3 or 4 dollars, but there's a decent amount of free content. You can play it one hand at a time or both. You can turn the lights off if you don't want them. You can read sheet music or do the "rhythm game" which is more like a lot of the tutorials you see on Youtube with the blocks that fall on the piano keys. You can play along in time, slowed down, or at your own pace. I can't sing the praises of those options enough. It's great for letting you choose how you want to learn. CONS: The sound quality is kind of meh. It's not terrible, but you probably wouldn't want to play professional concerts with it. But, that's not really the purpose of it, so I won't harp on that too much. You can choose different reverb levels in the app, but the speakers are just very average quality. Also you can only choose reverb settings, no different instruments (you can hook it up to garage band or something and use it there, but no options for it out of the package). The app also has a lot of songs that are for 88 keys, it will warn you of this and still let you play, but you have to tap the note on the screen to get it to play. It doesn't just play it automatically, which makes it hard to play those songs. I wish it would convert them or just play the note for you, but unfortunately it does not. TLDR; It's got light up, semi-weighted keys that feel good to play. The app makes learning piano as easy as it can be, offers a fair amount of free content and has much more available for purchase. It's also lightweight and extremely portable. The speaker quality is average, instrumentation variety doesn't exist, and the app doesn't offer a good solution to 88 key songs, but will let you play them if you choose. The app is also very flexible in it's options of how you want to learn. Overall, this is a great keyboard for beginners and I am very happy with it.

PERFECT for a beginnerWe bought this keyboard for our son to use as part of his homeschool music class, and it has honestly been such a great purchase. It’s very beginner-friendly and truly plug-and-play — we had it set up and ready to go within minutes. We pair it with the Simply Piano app, and the light-up keys make learning so much easier and more engaging. The visual guidance really helps him stay confident and follow along without getting frustrated, which keeps practice time fun instead of feeling like a chore. The sound quality surprised me too. The speakers are clear and plenty loud for a room, and I love that the volume is adjustable so we can keep it quiet during school hours or turn it up when he wants to perform for us. It feels sturdy but still lightweight enough to move around the house. Overall, this has been perfect for a beginner — simple, encouraging, and practical. If you’re looking for a first keyboard for a child or anyone just starting out, especially for learning with apps, this is a fantastic option. Highly recommend!

This keyboard is so much fun! The light-up keys make it really easy to follow along, especially if you’re just learning. The sound is good, it feels well made and it’s been a great way to practice at home.

My 14-year-old ADHD child is loving this keyboard. He's the type that jumps around from one hyperfocus to another, this is something that has actually kept him going and he has not lost interest. I hear him practicing on it at least an hour a day!! I, also ADHD, absolutely love it too plan on buying one for myself. It is so much fun I get lost and playing with it for hours there are so many songs to play and you really feel like you're learning how to play correctly. I can see it would be a little bit harder if you don't know how to read music but at the same time if you can follow the lights you can learn, it is just a wonderful keyboard. It also sounds beautiful we had purchased a different keyboard around the same price range and it sounded so cheap and generic where this one has a very beautiful sound quality!

Overall I am very happy with this, BUT I wished I had looked to download the apps first to see what was available. The kid "One Pianist" app doesn't seem to be available for Android for example. The game section in "The One" app could use some tweaking. It would be nice to offer a way to slow down the tempo in order to keep up with the keys. It assumes that you know the song and can keep up. The sheet music section is nice, wish the songs for sale were a little cheaper but $3 a song is not a bad deal. I have read reviews that the site has not been updated in a while though and that concerns me. Especially since this keyboard is so heavily dependent on the app. That is important. The keyboard is beautiful and I really like that clean look with no extra buttons. BUT, without the app, you also don't have much. It is a packaged deal, so PLAY WITH THE APP BEFORE YOU BUY.

Little larger than I expected but it id better than I expected too. Bluetooth works perfectly with the included app. Can get a cable for MIDI for $ 5-10 here for all other apps. Lessons are simple (so far) and easy to follow. If you get overconfident pick a song to play along with and you will remember you still don't know how to play piano. Yet.

My daughter loves it. Decent sound, light weight for its size, looks good and has her interested in learning piano. Good for a kids piano.
