Worked great, easy to install. Solved the ‘pex slapping the drywall from the inside’ problem I had with the washing machine lines.

We got a new washer and it was making a crazy loud hammering noise. These fixed it easily. Attached directly to the washer and fit the existing hoses. Overall really good fix for the problem, worth the price

Didn’t completely solve the problem, but it no longer sounds like someone is being murdered in the garage when I start the laundry.

I started getting the water hammer when I switched to a Whirlpool Duet front loader over an old mechanical top loader. On these front loaders the water starts and stops several times at first, measuring out how much water it needs etc. I installed these directly to the washer, the best place for them. Right off the bat, I noticed that the water hammer was hardly reduced at all. Then as each time it would cycle the water, it would get a little better. Maybe toward the last shutoff it reduces the hammer to an acceptable level, But if the water hammers almost like it used to 4 out of 5 water shut off/turn ons during each fill cycle, these are clearly not doing their job. I also can no longer return them as I completely forgot they were even there and was used the banging..until wait a minute, didn't I buy something to fix that?There is no indication of a water pressure issue. I may try installing them on the valve end of the pipe and try that. If there is a change, I may just need another set for both ends. I will update this review once I switch them over.Edit - swapping them to the valve end and there was no change maybe even slightly worse. Swapped them back over to the washing machine inlet end because something is better than nothing, and its reduced hammer by maybe 50 percent now...odd, I didnt install them any differently than I had before. I'll purchase another set but from a higher quality brand.

These are easy to install. We installed directly on the washing machine inlet hose connections. The water hammering problem completely went away.

Very easy installation process (attached directly to the hot and cold inlets on my LG washer. This took care of the water hammer caused by the rapid opening of the solenoid valves that engage when the washer fills at the beginning of the cycle. The machine runs silently after the installation.Here is my only gripe - the packaging label is very ambiguous. In two places it says lead free and in a third it indicates a low lead content. Since I am not using this on a potable water line I was not too concerned about the ambiguity. It would be really great if the vendor would weigh in on this and indicate if this product is truly lead free - for peace of mind in potable water applications.

Not for UK (EU?) washing machines. The washing machine hose fits correctly but when other end is screwed to the water tap or the washing machine it's still slack. Turn tap on, serious water leak.Reason; this is for hose connection ONLY, therefore washing machine hose fits fine but washing machine is not a hose connection, therefore leaks. Simple!This should be made clear in the listing description
