Clean cutting.
Cut 48 holes 3/4 deep. It is still sharp as new. Cuts well. Flat cutting except for the very small starter tip. Excellent chip removal. Stays centered. Go slow until the cutters are well engaged with the wood. Recommend.

Sharp, cuts cleanly
I was installing Euro cup style cabinet hinges in Home Depot birch plywood, which chips easily when holes are 3 mm from the door edge. Only had one minor chip out (drilling freehand). Sides were straight and bottoms were smooth

Did the job nicely
This 12mm Forstner drill bit drilled very clean flat bottomed holes in small cedar boards. I glued small, round rare earth magnets into each hole for a project I was building. Each magnet stayed in place with just a little gel superglue. If the holes had been ragged from the drilling, the glue would not have properly held the magnets in place. Overall, I am quite pleased with my purchase of this drill bit.

It does the job.
Visually it looks more like boring bit, but the result is the same as from other forstner bits I have. So, I don't know what other reviewers are complaining about. It does the job.

Great tool for the wood. Workers Kit
Great quality bit, I use it for cabinet hinges -35 mm fits most normal hinges. The cup depth is perfect and is a good indicator to depth of cut. Great value for money hand comes in a good storage case. Cut quickly through ยพ in birch ply.
